Warm Welcome

Mama Elephant is having the first color challenge on their blog. I recently bought two sets of their stamps and it's a perfect time to give them a try. Here is the challenge color combinations:

The colors are red, aqua, white, and glitter. Below is the card I made with "Cup of Wishes" set for this color challenge 01:

I cut the stripe of red, aqua, and glitter silver card stocks to make the stripe background for the cup. The cup was stamped with black ink and cut out. Flower was colored with Inktense watercolor pencils and the cup was colored with the metallic Distress Stain (Brushed Pewter). Silver embossed the "warm" on top of the cup. "Welcome" was stamped under the cup and decorated with two aqua color enamel dots to finish the card.

Here is a closer look of the cup and you can see the silver shining cup:

Supplies:
Cardstocks: PTI (aqua & silver), Stampin' Up (red), Strathmore (linen white cardstock)
Stamps: Mama Elephant (Cup of Wishes)
Ink Pads: Archival Ink (black), Versamark
Others: Inktense water pencils, Metallic Distress Stain, silver embossing powder, enamel dots (My Mind's Eye)

A Wedding Card

This is the wedding card I made for my niece. Her wedding was on December 15th. The ceremony was warm and blessed. Wish her and her husband have a happy life forever. Here is the wedding card:

I used Stampin' Up embossing folder to have the roses dry embossed on the watercolor paper. Then, I applied Distress Ink with water brush pen to color the roses. Greeting was stamped with gray ink. Quick and simple card to make.

Here is inside of the card:

The greeting was also stamped with gray ink which can be matched with card front.

Supplies:
Cardstocks: Strathmore (watercolor paper)
Stamps: PTI (greetings)
Ink Pads: Memento, Distress ink pad
Others: Stampin' Up (embossing folder)

Thank you for visiting my blog. Wish all of you have a Merry Christmas!
