Hero Arts Nature Challenge

Here is the Hero Arts Nature Challenge, and below is the challenge photo:

I decided to make a card with G5311 Silhouette Spray and S5601 Newspaper Background stamps. Below is the finished card:

I used Distress ink pad to stamp the Silhouette Spray several times with generation stamping technique on a white cardstock. Then, I brushed the light purple Distress ink pad over the entire background. Stamped "Happy Mother's Day" and heat embossing with purple embossing powder. Attached the purple glitter glue to highlight the Silhouette Spray. For the background, I white embossed the Newspaper Background on a piece of white cardstock. Then, I brushed the Distress ink all over the background to create a depth effect. Attached the purple flower panel with foam tape on the background to finish the card. Below is a closer look of the purple flower panel:

I also want to have this card to attend this week's Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes! Here is the challenge photo:

Cardstock: PTI

Poppystamps Challenge #5 - My Love

Here is February's Poppystamps Challenge # 5 - My Love. Below is the challenge photo and the card I made for this challenge.

I used a pencil to draw a heart shape on a piece of watercolor paper, then brushed rubber cement around the outside of the heart. Once rubber cement dried, I used Distress ink pads to watercolor the heart, and the ink will not bleed out of the heart. I just rubbed off the rubber cement with my fingers once the ink dried. I picked three different dies - Ashby Corner, Honeyblossom Sprig, Berry Sprig, and die cut them out with white cardstock. Then, I cut and arranged them to attach inside of the watercolor heart. Finish the card by stamping and embossing "sending love" below the heart. Below is a closer look of the heart, I love the look of the faux laser die cut.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, watercolor paper
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp
Ink Pads: Distress ink pads, Versafine
Dies: Memory Box/Poppy Stamps
Others: foam tapes

PTI Day 5: Spring Into Action Challenge

Papertrey Ink is going to celebrate its 8th anniversary this month. I am a big fan of Papertrey Ink since it started and have tons of PTI's stamps. I did have some sets of PTI stamps not use them yet. This challenge is really a good chance to get my unused PTI stamp sets an opportunity to make a card. Below is the card I made with both Doodlie-Do set and Background Basics: Inspiration set:

I white embossed the flowers, leaves, and sentiment from Doodlie-Do set on black cardstock as well as the text stripe from the Background Basics: Inspiration set. Then, I used Inka Gold to color the images to create a shimmery look. I used the corner rounder to round the left two corners to finish the card. I love the chalkboard effect of this card. Below is a closer look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: PTI
Ink Pad: Versamark
Others: white embossing powder, Inka Gold, corner rounder

Love U Shaker Card

Here is the heart shaker card I made with Altenew's stamps - Vintage Roses, Painted Butterflies, and Label Love sets. Below is the finished card:

I used the heart dies from Little B to make the shaker shape and stamped the roses and leaves around the heart. Butterflies were stamped and embossed with gold embossing powder. I stamped "Love U" with black ink and cut out, attached it with foam tape on top of the card. Finished the card by dipping some gold glitter glue randomly on the card front (I also had some pink glitter glue inside the heart shaker). Here is a closer look of the heart shaker:

Valentine Bracelet

Valentine's Day is coming, and here I made a heart bracelet with Swarovski crystals.

I used different sizes of red heart crystals, clear round crystals, and some small clear bicones to make this bracelet. Pretty easy to make it.

The toggle I chose is a silver heart shaped one with an arrow on the other end (see above). It makes this bracelet very Valentine look.

Hello Bear

Here is the card I made using MTF Cool Day stamp set and High Rise alphabet dies.

I die cut "hello" with watercolor paper. Then, I glued these alphabets on another watercolor paper. I used water brush to brush Distress ink onto the watercolor paper to make the ombre effect. And I attached this watercolor panel at the bottom of a white card. I also used Distress ink pad to color a lime green stripe and glue it on top of the watercolor panel. For the bear, I stamped and embossed it first, then I color it with water brush and Distress ink pads. Then, I cut out the bear and attach it on the card with foam tapes. Below is a closer look of the bear:
