Simon Monday Challenge - Mother's Day/Feminine

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Mother's Day/Feminine, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I stamped the flowers and leaves (from Altenew's Plants & Vases stamp set, The Greetery's Lovely Silhouettes and All Blessings Flow stamp set) on white cardstock with different colors of Altenew Fresh ink pads. I due cut the vase shape and applied Pinkfresh Studio's Hexagon Tile coverplate die it to create the texture. I blended different shades of green on the vase. I used the foam tapes on the vase and attach it on the background. I white embossed "thinking of you" (from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th' Written Words stamp set) on purple cardstock and cut it out with the matching die. Finish the card by attaching some purple glitter drops on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I was inspired with Jennifer McGuire's live video on the masking technique and created this card. I stamped the flower (from Concord & 9th' Eclectic Blooms stamp set) on the white cardstock. I also used the matching die to cut this flower shape from masking paper and covered it on the stamped flower. Then I used the masking strips to diagonally mask the background and ink blended different shades of blue and green on the background. Once it is done, I removed all masking strips and flower mask to have the string result. Finish the card by attaching "thanks" die cut (from Concord & 9th's Eclectic Blooms die set) at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

I applied Altenew Fresh day ink pads on white cardstock to create the blue ombre effect. I white embossed the Bible verses on the right hand side of the background. I die cut the dove & cross die from silver glitter cardstock (from Simon Says Stamp) and attached on the left side of the background. Finish the card by dropping the black enamel accents on the eye of the dove. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - 4 Legged Friends

I die cut Penny Black's Gentle Swell Frames from white and navy cardstock and stacked them together. I stamped the cute bunny (from Penny Black's Cuteness stamp set) on the inside of the frame and colored it with alcohol markers. I stamped "thinking of you" (from Gina K Designs' Blooming Butterfly stamp set) above the bunny. I stamped the background with MFT's typewriter font background stamp on blue cardstock. Finish the card by brushing the clear shimmer pen on the hearts. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Make It Feminine

I die cut Penny Black's Classy Frames on white and dark purple cardstock and stacked them together. I stamped the flower (from Penny Black's Abloom stamp set) on the white cardstock inside of the frame. Then I applied the masking technique to mask flower (with the matching die) as well as masking strips to create the strip background under the flower. I used Altenew's Paper Echoes stencil and fresh day ink pad to create the lavender background. I white embossed "happy birthday" (from Gina K Designs' Floral Framework stamp and die set) on dark purple cardstock and cut out with the matching die. I assembled the floral frame and greeting on the stenciled background. Finish the card by dropping some purple glitter glue on the flower centers. Below is another look of the card:

I applied three different shades of purple inks (from Altenew fresh ink pads) on the Streaming 3D embossing folder (from Simon Says Stamp), and embossed it on the white cardstock. I fussy cut part of the embossed background and attached it on a dark purple card base. I white embossed the greeting (from Stamp Simply's Baptism, Dedication, Confirmation, Communication stamp set) on top of the card. Finish the card by attaching some purple glitter drops (from Pinkfresh Studio) around the greeting. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Quite Quirky

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Quite Quirky, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I made a tri-fold card with daisies breaking out from the right panel. I die cut daisies (from Penny Black's Daisy Delight die and blended yellow and green inks on them. I blended blue ink on the right bottom corner of the card front and stamped Penny Black's Letter Background stamp on top of it. I also die cut three lady bugs (from Waffle Flower's Lady Bug die set) and attached on the background. I attached the daisies on the folded panel and covered it with black cardstock panel and black glitter cardstock strip. Finish the card by attaching "sweet birthday hugs" (from Waffle Flower's Sentiments Cake Time die cut) at the bottom of the card front. Below is another look of the card:

I used Altenew's Houseplants Layering die set and Fresh ink pads to create the hanging plant. I dry embossed Altenew's Ways to Thank You 3D embossing folder on the coral pink cardstock and lightly brushed white ink on the embossed areas. I die cut "thanks" from Altenew's Simple Greetings die set with dark coral and white cardstock. Finish the card by attaching the assembled plant and "thanks" on the background. Simon Monday Challenge - Bright & Cheerful

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Bright & Cheerful, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I used Spellbinders' Sunflower Serenade die set to assemble the sunflower and shaded with Altenew Fresh ink pads. For the background, I applied Altenew's Foil Relief Paste on The Crafters Workshop's Mini Labyrinth stencil with blue cardstock. After the paste dried completely, I put Spellbinders' Moondust glimmer hot foil on the paste and lift it with this pretty and shiny background. I used Spellbinders' Always and Forever Sentiment Strips press plate and die set to create the sentiment. Finish the card by attaching sunflower and sentiment strip on the background. I die cut "enjoy" (from Penny Black's Immense Enjoyment die) on watercolor paper and colored it with Vintage Photo Distress re-inker. I stamped and die cut the coffee cup from Penny Black's Brew-Tea-Ful stamp and die set and watercolor it with Distress re-inkers. I white embossed "relax and" and "the little things" (from Penny Black's Enjoy Builder stamp set) on top of below the "enjoy" die cut. I also applied Lisa Horton's solid gold re-inker on the brush and sprinkled the gold splatter on the brown background. Finish the card by attaching the coffee cup on top of the "O" with foam tapes. Simon Wednesday Challenge - Happy Birthday

I used Simon Says Stamp's Dibble Dot 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the white background. I used the balloon die (from Simon Says Stamp's Balloons dies set) to die cut a large balloon and blended in three different colors of Distress Oxide inks. I gold embossed "happy birthday" (from Simon Says Stamp's Clean Line Everyday stamp set) on the balloon and attached the balloon on the embossed background. I die cut the balloon strip (from The Greetery) on a matte gold cardstock and attached it with the balloon. Finish the card by attaching some ombre glitter drops (from Pinkfresh Studio) on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Emboss It

I used Spellbinders' Distress Mix 3D embossing folder to dry emboss on a piece of white cardstock. Then, I lightly pressed Versamark ink pad on partial of the embossed areas and gold embossed it. I die cut the flower (from Spellbinders' Gorgeous You Florals dies set) from color and metallic cardstock and assembled it. I used Spellbinders' Always and Forever Sentiment Strips press plate and die set to make the "happy birthday" greeting. Finish the card by attaching flower and sentiment strip on the background. Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

I stamped the background with Penny Black's Letter Background stamp and Posted stamp set. I used Spellbinders' Soaring 3D embossing folder on cobalt blue cardstock and press the same color of ink on the embossing folder to create the tone on tone effect. Then I used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Blocks die to cut the embossed into little pieces and attached them on the match white postage die cut (from Waffle Flower's Postage Collage die). I die cut "hugs" (from Altenew's Simple Greetings die set) with black and cobalt blue cardstock. Finish the card by arranging the postage die cut and hugs die on the background. I die cut the cattails from Penny Black's Cattails die set from white cardstock and blended the colors with dye ink pads. I white embossed "Trust in the Lord" (from Divinity Designs' Bold Blessings stamp and die duo) on brown cardstock and cut it out with the matching die. I stamped the image (from Erin Lee Creative's Unto Us stamp set) with Versafine Onyx Black ink pad on white cardstock and embossed it with clear embossing powder. I also stamped "he is risen" (from Simon Says Stamp's Clean Line Faith stamp set) with Versafine Onyx Black ink and clear embossed it. Then I used Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th' Long Leaves stencil set to blend different shades of blue on top of the card. Finish the card by coloring the star with clear shimmer brush pen.
