Imagine Watercolor Flower Card

I went to a local stamp show last Saturday and bought some stamp sets from Rubber Necker. I used one of the sets to create this water color poppy card to attend the Runway Inspired Challenge. Here are the challenge photos:

And below is the card I made:

This flower set is a two step stamping set. First I colored the flower petals with Distress markers and spritz water, then stamped it on the white cardstock. Then, I used Versamark ink pad to ink the outline flower stamp and gold embossed it. The text of "imagine" was also gold embossed. I cut a wavy stripe with a die and dip the edge into Versamark, then gold embossed the edge. I mount the white cardstock on the orange texture cardstock, then on a white card. Below is a closer look of the flowers:

I also used the gold Wink of the Stella pen to add some dots around the flowers. Love the clean and watercolor look of the card.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, Tim Holtz
Stamps: Rubber Necker
Ink Pads: Versamark, Distress ink pad
Die: Lawn Fawn
Others: Distress markers, gold embossing powder, gold Wink of the Stella pen

Blue Bracelet

Here is the blue bracelet I made with blue Swarovski round crystal beads, clear Swarovski rondelle beads, and shiny sliver beads. It's very easy to finish it.

This blue bracelet will be a perfect match with jeans. Below are the other look:

Paper Smooches Anything Goes Challenge 11/2-11/8

Here is the Paper Smooches Anything Goes challenge for 11/2-11/8. Below are the challenge photos:

And here is card I made:

For the background, I applied Distress ink pads with different shade of browns and oranges on the white cardstock. Then, I sprayed water on the Tim Holtz wood grain stencil and "stamp" on top of the colored distress background. After I lift the stencil, it becomes this beautiful wood grain background. For the rocking horse, I used Copic markers to color it and attached it on the white circle die cut with foam tapes. I also glued a googly eye on the horse to add interest. The text "you rock" was black embossed on the background. Here is the closer look of the rocking horse:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: Paper Smooches
Ink Pads: Distress ink pads, Memento, Versafine
Die: MTF
Others: stencil, Copic markers, foam tapes, gold Wink of Stella pen

Hero Arts Holiday Challenge - Mad About Metallics

I bought ten Ink Gold recently and decided to make another card to attend Hero Arts Holiday Challenge on the Mad About Metallics category. Here is the challenge photo:

Below is the picture of the Ink Gold I bought - I got ten colors. Inka Gold is the fast drying metal gloss paint containing natural bees wax. The colors are rich and shiny.

And here is the card I made with Hero Arts' Christmas Crystals stamp set and Ink Gold:

I white embossed these crystals on the black cardstock, then I used water brush applying Inka Gold to color the crystals. The colors are very gorgeous. Then, I silver embossed the greeting on a piece of white cardstock and cut out to a slanted stripe. I assembled all pieces together to finish the card.

Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampin' Up, PTI
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ink Pads: Versamark
Others: Inka Gold, white & silver embossing powders
