Green Pearl Necklace & Bracelet Set

Here is the necklace and bracelet set made by Swarovski green pearls. Below is the look if the finished set:

The diamond shaped bead is a special bead which can change its color when you use hand to warm it up - pretty cool feature. I used 3mm Swarovski bicones and seed beads to connect the green pearls. Below is another look:

I made the necklace into a Y-shaped one, so it looks more interesting. They are very easy to make and it's a quick project.

AEI♥U Challenge #28 - Non-white Card Base

Here is AEI♥U Challenge #28 - Non-white Card Base, below is the challenge photo:

Below is the chalk board background card I made for this challenge:

I used a chalk board cardstock as the background and stamp the text (Write It set) with Versamark ink pad and white embossed it. Then, I stamped the same text stamp with white ink pad but off to the right a little to make the chalk board effect. I stamped these cute little creatures (Swim Team set) on a white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I cut them out and attached on the chalkboard background with foam tapes. I also attached a stripe of white cardstock under the turtle to make it grounded.  Below is the side look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, Michaels
Stamps: Avery Elle
Ink Pads: Versamark, MTF
Others: Copic markers, embossing powder, foam tapes

U R Amazing

I just received my order from Studio L2E for the new release stamp sets. I found the size of each letter in Hexagon Alphabet set can be matched perfectly with Tim Holtz's hexagon punch. So, here is the U R Amazing (You Are Amazing) card I made:

I water colored blue and green on a piece of watercolor paper, then I use the hexagon punch to punch them out. I used foam tapes and attach each watercolor hexagon on the white cardstock. I stamped U and R from Studio L2E's Hexagon Alphabet set with black Versafine ink pad and punch them out with hexagon punch. I also used foam tapes to attach U and R into the watercolor hexagon background. I stamped "amazing" with black Versafine ink pad and clear embossed it. Finish the card by mount the background on a piece of black cardstock. Below is a closer look at the dimension of these hexagon tiles:

I would like to have this card attending the following two challenges:

1) Runway Inspired Challenge (ric#91) - Michael Kors, below are the challenge photos:

2) Virginia's View Challenge #18 - Geometric Patterns, below is the challenge photo:

Supplies:

Altenew August Challenge: From Places Abroad - United Kingdom

Here is Altenew August Challenge inspiration photo:

I love the whole setting on the table, especially the gold frosted cake and pastel macaroons. So, I decided to give my stamped flowers a little yummy frost - I must be hungry when I got this idea. Here is the card I made for this challenge:

I stamped the flowers and leaves from Golden Garden set with lilac and green inks. Then, I stamped the outlines with black Versafine ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder. For the frost, I mixed the Texture Paste with Dusty Concord Distress ink to make the lilac paste and mixed the Texture Paste with Mowed Lawn Distress ink to make the leaf green paste. Then, I use the small plastic knife to spread the frost onto flowers and leaves. The greeting "Thank You" is from Label Love set and I attached it with foam tape. For the lilac stripe border, I cut a piece of pattern acetate (from We R Memory Keepers) and attach it on the right to make the card more interesting. Below is a closer look of the frost:

And below is another look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: Altenew
Ink Pads: Distress ink pads, Versafine
Others: embossing powder, Texture Paste, patterned acetate, foam tapes
