Faith Hope Love

Here are the two challenges I would like to attend:

And here is the card I made to attend the above two challenges:




I stamped "faith", "hope", and "love" stamps from the Neat and Tangled "Bible Journaling" set all over the background with gray Archival ink pad and MISTI tool. Then, I die cut two set of maples leaves with the Neat and Tangled "Maple Thanks" die and watercolored the leaves. I glued the black die cut veins on the watercolor leaves. Finish the card by attaching the green leaf directly on the background and the purple leaf with foam tapes. Below is another look of the card:

Paper Smooches April Challenge - Showers

Here is Paper Smooches April Challenge - Showers, below is the challenge photo:



And here is the card I made for this challenge:


I stamped the sheep and rain drops on a piece of Bristol paper and watercolor them with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush and cut them out. On the rain drops, I brushed the clear Wink of the Stella pen and put Glossy Accent to make them shiny and dimensional. On the background, I stamped rainbow and greetings with Versafine smoky gray ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then, I masked the cloud and rainbow and blended the Distress Oxide inks on the background. After removing the mask, I colored the cloud and rainbow with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush and brush the clear Wink of the Stella pen on the rainbow. Finish the card by attaching the sheep and raindrops on the background with foam tapes. Below is another look of the card:

April Showers Bring May Flowers

Below is the card I made for these two challenges:


I stamped two different shades of orange for the poppy flowers and colored the flower center stamp with Fintec Artist gold watercolor, then stamped it as the flower center. For the flower outline, I stamped black Versafine ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. I shaded the images with light gray watercolor and speckled the Fintec gold watercolor on the background. Finish the card by attaching some clear sequins on the card. A Blog Named Hero April Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is A Blog Named Hero April challenge - Anything Goes, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made for this challenge:


I stamped the jar (from Hero Arts CL673 Love Jar) on the vellum with gray ink and embossed with clear embossing powder. Cut it out. I stamped the mushrooms (from Hero Arts CM158 You're a fungi) on a piece of Bristol paper and masked them to make a connect mushroom stacking. I colored these mushrooms with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush. I made the background with Distress Oxide ink pads on the watercolor paper. Finish the card by glued down mushrooms and the vellum jars, stamp the greetings, and sprinkled some black watercolor on the background. Below is another look of the card:

The Ton April Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is The Ton April Challenge - Anything Goes. Below is the challenge photo:


I snapped some dahlia photos last summer when we had a trip to Eureka, there is a little garden next to the zoo and planted assorted colors of dahlia. Below are two photos I love the most:



Based on the inspiration of the above dahlia photos, here is the card I made for this challenge:


I stamped the Dahlia Close Up cling background stamp from The Ton on the watercolor paper and embossed with rose gold embossing powder. Then, I applied watercolor on flower petals to create the first layer of colors. Once the watercolor completely dry, I applied prisma color pencils on the flowers to create the second layer of colors and make more depth of the flower image. Finish the card by embossing the rose gold embossing powder on a stripe of vellum with the greeting "You have a heart of gold" (from MFT). Below is the finished card:

Ellen Hutson April Mix It Up Challenge: Waffle Flower Crafts

Here is Ellen Hutson April Mix It Up challenge: Waffle Flower Crafts, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I stamped the images from Waffle Flower's "Enveloper Birthday" and "Enveloper Little Birdie" sets with black Versafine ink pad and embossed with clear embossing powder on Bristol paper. Then, I watercolored the images with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush pens and cut it out. I applied Distress Oxide ink pads on the watercolor paper to make the background. Once the background dry, I stamped "oh happy day!" from Essentials by Ellen's "Bold Blooms" set and embossed it. Finish the card by attaching foam tapes under the cut out panel on the background and embellishing the background with Tonic Studio Nuvo glitter drops. Below is another look of the card:

I stamped the jars on the kraft cardstock with white pigment ink and my MISTI tool. Then, I shaded each jar with white prisma color pencil. I stamped the butterflies with white pigment ink and applied color pencils on top of the white ink. Finish the card by white embossing the greetings to make this birthday card. Paper Artsy 2017 Challenge #5 - Blue and Ochre

Here is Paper Artsy 2017 Challenge #5 - Blue and Ochre. I was inspired by this below photo:


And here is the card I made for this challenge:


The background was made by Infusions and I brushed the border with Distress ink (Salty Ocean). I stamped the flowers and leaves on Bristol paper and watercolored with Distress inks. I black embossed the flower stems on the background and attached the cut out leaves on it. For flowers, I glued the center down and attached foam dots on each petals to make them dimensional. I black and white embossed "hugs" with shifting the stamp a little bit to create the shadow look. Finish the card by attaching dew drops (blue and ochre colors) on the background. Heartfelt Thanks

Here is the card I made to attend the following two challenges:

I used the vase die cut to cut 3 vellum vases and colored them with Inktense watercolor pencils and blended with Dove blender pen. I die cut a stitched rectangle white cardstock and stamped a flower stem on it. Put some Nuvo glitter drops on the flowers. Then I attached the colored vellum vases onto the background. Stamped the "heartfelt thanks" and embossed with clear embossing powder. Finish the card by attaching the white background on a purple cardstock, then on a celery color card.
