Masculine Birthday Card - The Birthday Sketch Challenge from Moxie Fab World

When I saw the birthday sketch challenge from Moxie Fab World, I immediately think about making a masculine birthday card for this challenge - maybe it's because my husband's birthday is coming. Here is the challenge sketch:

And here is the card I made:

I used the inchies masked with the masking tape. Then, ran them through my Cuttlebug with dies from Papertrey Ink. Since the inchies are pretty thick, so the machine will not cut off the inchies, but just leave the impression from die. I peeled off part of the masking tape one at a time and brushed the Distress ink pads to color the inchies. Final step is to stamp Versamark ink pad all over the inches and clear embossed them. Finish the card with a clock face stamp and birthday greeting.

Below is a closer look of the inches:

The inchies look pretty shining after clear embossed and they also created the dimension on the card. I learned this technique from Ellen Huston's blog and loved it very much.

Supplies:
Cardstocks: PTI (white)
Stamps: PTI (Hands of Time set), Simon Says Stamp (greeting)
Ink Pads: Distress ink pads, Memento, Versamark, Archival ink pad
Die: PTI (clock face & hands of time)
Others: inchies, clear embossing powder, masking tape

Thank you for visiting my blog.
