Hero Arts Holiday Challenge - White Out

Hero Arts has a Holiday Challenge with four different categories to enter. Below is the challenge photo:

I decide to pick the "White Out" category and make a Christmas card with the new stamp set "Christmas Crystals" I just got. Here is the card I made:

For the white background, I used Hero Arts background stamp and white embossed on the white cardstock. Then, I applied the matching Sizzix embossing folder to make the white embossed stamp image popping out. I used a circle die and cut a circle on the background. For the crystal ornament, I white embossed it on the watercolor paper, then colored with water brush and Distress ink pads. After the ink dry, I colored the whole crystal ornament with the Wink of Stella pen to make it shinny. Then, I cut out the crystal ornament and attached in the middle of the circle, I also cut a small piece of gold thread to "hang" the ornament. I put foam tapes on the back of the background and attached on top of the crystal ornament. For the greeting of "JOY", I white embossed the wood veneer letters and glued on the background.
