Thinking Of You Card With Infusions

I love Paper Artys's Infusions - a water reactive dye stain with brown walnut crystals in there. Infusions creates a distress and vintage look. Here is the card I made with Paper Artsy Infusions for the background and flowers:

I white embossed the flowers on the watercolor paper (Paper Artsy's Eclectica's Kay Carley 02 set), and masked the flowers. Then, I applied 4 different colors of Infusions on the watercolor paper - Royal Blood, Violet Storms, The Sage, and Lemoncello, sprinkled water and made this background. Remove the masks on the flowers and sprinkle Royal Blood and Are you Cerise Infusions on the large flower, Black Currant Infusions on the small flower, and I used a wet water brush to spread the colors. Stamped the butterflies on another piece of white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. Cut out the butterflies and attached them on the background. Finish the card by white embossed "thinking of you" on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I would like to have this card to attend the following 3 challenges:

1) Paper Artys' 2017 Topic #3 Paints with Infusions challenge - below is the challenge photo:

  5. This card is incredible! I'm so impressed with how subtle the background is, yet it is still striking and perfect for the images in the front. The tree and butterflies have an amazing whimsical look and the embossing adds another layer of dimension. You did an incredible job and I'm so glad you shared your talents with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
