Thinking Of You - Hero Arts One Layer Challenge

I decided to make another card for Hero Arts' One Layer Challenge.

Below is the card I made for this challenge:

I stamped the Happy Definition (CG269) with light gray ink pad on the white cardstock. Then, I put the Large Lotus Pattern stencil (SA001) on the text background and applied Distress ink pads on the flowers and leaves. After I removed the stencil, I brushed the clear Wink of the Stella pen on the flowers & leaves to make them shimmery. Finish the card with black "thinking of you" stamped on the top of the card. I also shaded the borders of the card with Distress ink pad. Here is a closer look of the flowers to see the shimmery effect:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ink Pads: Hero Arts, Distress ink pads, Versafine
Others: stencil (Hero Arts), Wink of the Stella pen

Lucite Beads Earrings

I love the different colors & shapes of the lucite beads. They look like the frosted color glass and are best to make the flower like earrings. Below are the two pairs of earrings I made with lucite beads.

The first pair is made with the trumpet shaped lucite beads (aqua color) with Swarovski round crystals.  It's a very spring look pair of earrings. Here is a closer/another look:

Here is the second pair using amethyst color of lucite beads:

I used two layers of lucite beads - different shape & texture to make the flower shape. I also have Swarovski bicones on top and bottom of the earrings. Below is a closer look:

Just Because - Hero Arts One Layer Challenge

Here is Hero Arts' one layer challenge:

Since I have lots of scrap stripes of watercolor paper, so I decided to color them with Distress ink and water brush, then I glue these stripes down on the background of the card. Not sure if this will qualify for the "one layer", but these stripes did create a flat one-layer background. Here is the stripe background I created:

Next, I stamped the Leafy Vines (CG509) on this watercolor stripes background and embossed with gold pearl embossing powder. Stamped the "just because" with black ink to finish the card. Here is the finished card:

I still have some extra watercolor paper stripes, and I decide to make a cute ATC for a friend. Here is the ATC which I used Altenew's stamps to make it.

Supplies:
Cardstock: watercolor paper, PTI
Stamps: Hero Arts, Altenew
Ink Pads: Distress Ink pads, Versamark, Versafine
Others: embossing powder

You Are Awesome - Runway Inspired Challenge ric#63

Here is the Runway Inspired Challenge #63 - Just Cavalli Resort. Below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made for this challenge:

I combined the Distress Paints (yellow, blue, green, white and silver) and Distress Ink Pad (black) to make this background. Then, I cut the background into this fun irregular shape and mount it on the black cardstock. I glued the background on the white card with foam tapes. At the bottom of the card, I stamped "you are awesome" with Altenew's Super Script stamp set. Below is a closer look of the distress background.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, Stampin' Up
Stamps: Altenew
Ink Pads: Distress Ink pad, Versafine, Simon Says Stamp
Others: Distress Paints, foam tapes, mini mister
