Simon Monday Challenge - Sparkle Mode

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Sparkle Mode, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I stamped the poinsettias and greeting (from Colorado Craft Company's Slimline Poinsettias stamp set) with Versafine onyx black ink pad on watercolor paper and clear embossed them. Then I watercolor the poinsettias with Iuile metallic watercolors. I also highlight the edges of poinsettias with metallic light blue ink to finish the card. It's very shimmery and sparkle. Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Altenew's Perfect Poinsettias 3D embossing folder to run through a red cardstock. Then I lightly applied white pigment ink on the raised embossed images. I sprinkled JudiKins' iridescent sparkle embossing powder on the white pigment ink and heat embossed. It created a sugar coated and sparkling effect. Finish the card by cutting a stripe of the pre-printed sentiment from Simon Says Stamp at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

A Blog Named Hero November Challenge - Glitz

Here is A Blog Named Hero November Challenge - Glitz, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I stamped the layered snowflake (from Hero Arts' Color Layering Snowflake stamp set) with 3 different shades of blue inks on white cardstock, and cut it out with matching die. I die cut the snowflake on white cardstock twice and stack them together to make it more dimensional. On a piece of white cardstock background, I stamped the two layered snowflakes with two different shades of blue grey inks. I decorated the snowflakes with glitter glues. I also stamped some small flakes with Veramark ink and silver embossed them. I attached the large three layered blue snowflake on the background. I also stamped the greeting at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some blue gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Make Your Own Background

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Make Your Own Background, below is the challenge photo:

I stamped the background with the small stamps from Paper Artsy's JOFY 109, and colored with Copic markers. I gold embossed the greetings on a piece of vellum and cut it around the greetings, and attached it in the center of the background. Finish the card by attaching some gold sparkle crystals (from Studio Katia) on the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Trees

I white embossed the trees background stamp (from Impression Obsession) on the white cardstock. Then I blended in three Distress Oxide inks - Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, and Evergreen Bough on the background to resist the trees. I silver embossed "Merry Christmas" (from Hero Arts' Color Layering Snowflake stamp set) on a piece of vellum and attached it at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some silver gems on top of the card. Below is another look of the  card:

I used Altenew's Mountain die set and Distress Oxide inks to create the background. Each layer was stacked with foam tapes to create the 3D dimension. The bottom layer was cut with black cardstock and I brushed some white ink around the edge. I white embossed the greeting at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some gems on the purple sky. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday & Wednesday Challenges - Thanks/Thanksgiving

I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's "filled embossing folder" technique and would like to give it a try. I used Simon Says Stamp's Vine Canopy embossing folder to run through a kraft color cardstock. Then I flipped it to the other side and filled in gold glitter paste. Let it dry completely. Then I used the same embossing folder to run through a dark brown cardstock. I cut out the top portion of the glitter pasted filled background and attached it on the dark brown embossed background. Finish the card by die cutting "thanks" (from Simon Says Stamp's Script Thanks dies) on the card. Below is another look of the card:

I stamped the quadrant Christmas image (from Paper Artsy's JOFY 109) on a corner of white cardstock, and colored them with alcohol markers. I die cut "joy" (from Simon Says Stamp's Chunky Joy dies) with red and gold cardstock and attach it on the top left corner. I stamped an ornament on white cardstock, colored it with alcohol marker and cut it out. I drew a black line from "joy" die and attach this ornament with foam tapes. Finish the card by stamping "to the world" (from Simon Says Stamp's Abstract Holiday stamp set) at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Christmas Card Without Stamps

I made this Christmas card without any stamps. The green background was using Memory Box's Pinpoint Leaf Plate debossed die to make the background. I also using an embossing folder to dry emboss the white leaves with a slope to attach at the bottom of the card. I die cut Poppystamps' Evergreen Trio die set with glitter cardstock and white cardstock, I stacked them together and attached on the snow slope. I also die cut Poppystamps' Holly Merry Christmas die from both glitter and green cardstock and attached at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by dropping some red glitter glue on the berries of Holly Merry Christmas die. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Any Holiday Occasion

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Any Holiday Occasion, below is the challenge photo:

I stamped the bear, hedgehog, and Christmas tree (from Penny Black's Shine Bright stamp set) on white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I stamped "joy to the world" (from Simon Says Stamp's Abstract Holiday) at the bottom of the images. Then I cut a horizontal line cross the images. I applied white ink on the snowflakes (from Carta Bella's White Christmas stencil) over a navy cardstock. I used foam tapes under the panel I cut out and attach it at the bottom of the card to make a mini slimline card. Finish the card by adding some white gel pens on the navy background.
