Wishing You A Season Of Good Cheer

Here are the two challenges I would like to attend this week:

1) Simon Monday Challenge - Lets Get Ready for Christmas, below is the challenge photo:

2) Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge #405-#407, below is the challenge word art:

And here is the card I made to attend the above two challenges:

I learned the "embellished window technique" from Jennifer McGuire and sprinkled silver glitter embossing powder on the laminate sheet and run it through the laminator machine. Due to the heat of the laminator, the embossing powder will be melted in the laminate sheet to create the snow background. Then I sandwiched the laminate sheet in between the die cut shape and background. I colored the mouse and gift images with Copic marker and cut them down. I stamped the greeting at the bottom of the background and attached some gems to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, Stampin' Up
Ink Pads: Archival ink, Gina K Designs
Stamps: Hello Bluebird
Others: laminate sheet, embossing powder, die cut, foam tapes, gems

I used the painter's thin tapes, Distress Oxide inks, and Picket Fence's Life Changing brushes to make the background. I stamped images from A Blessed Christmas set on the white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I silver embossed the greeting (from Boxed Greetings set) on the left bottom corner. Finish the card by attaching the colored images with foam tapes on the card and embellished with some gems. The card looks like a stamped Bible story about Jesus' birth on Christmas. Love it! Simon Monday Challenge - Stamp It

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Stamp It, below is the challenge photo:

I used different Distress inks and water brush to blend the background on the watercolor paper. Once the background is completely dry, I sprayed water on the background and use a towel to absorb the water. I die cut "Merry Christmas" several times on the blue cardstock and cut another one on the blue glitter cardstock. I stacked these die cuts together and glue them on a piece of vellum. Finish the cards by attaching the vellum stripe on the card background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Stamp It

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Stamp It, below is the challenge photo:

And here are the two cards I made with the same stamp set to attend this challenge:

I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's Offset Shadow Stamping technique and made these cards. I stamped the tree background (from Pinkfresh Studio's Through The Trees stamp set) on the hunter green cardstock with white ink. Then I move up the background a little bit up and stamped the same tree background again with hunter green ink. It will create a dimensional offset shadow effect. I white embossed the greeting on a stripe of vellum and finish the card by dropping some Nuvo Dream Drops. Below is another look of the card:

I used the same tree background stamp and stamped another card:

This time I used the kelly green cardstock to make the card. I gold embossed the greeting in the center of the trees and also gold embossed around the card. Finish this card by attaching some clear gems on the card. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampin' Up, PTI, vellum
Ink Pads: Stampin' Up, Versamark
Stamps: Pinkfresh Studio, Simon Says Stamp
Others: embossing powder, Nuvo Dream Drops, clear gems

I was inspired by Kristina Werner's Ink Blending + Multicolor Stamping combo techniques on her blog and made this card. Then I inked Seedless Preserves and Abandoned Coral on Hero Arts' Antique Rose wood stamp and stamped on the background. I stamped the same flower on another piece of white cardstock and used Picket Fence Life Changing brushes to blend Seedless Preserves and Abandoned Coral on the flower. I cut out the center of the flower and attach it on top of the background flower with foam tapes. I brushed Versamark ink around the card background and gold embossed it. The greeting was stamped with Seedless Preserves at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some Nuvo Dream Drops on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I brushed different colors of Distress inks with water brush on the watercolor paper to make the background. Let it completely dry. I use water brush to brush water on the background again to make the whole background color lighter, however, the heat embossed stars area will remain darker colors. Finish the card by die cutting "Merry Christmas" (from Paper Smooches" four times on cardstock as well as a glitter cardstock and attaching them together to make it dimensional at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:
