Altenew June 2021 Inspiration Challenge

Here is Altenew June 2021 Inspiration Challenge, below is the challenge photo:



And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I applied yellow, blue, and brown Distress Oxide inks over Altenew's Leaf Bed stencil to make the background. I die cut the leaf from Altenew's Hanging Garden die set on brown cardstock three times and stacked them together. I attached the below leaf die on the yellow cardstock and cut it out on the left side. I stamped "hello" (from Altenew's Vintage Garden stamp set) at the top of the yellow cardstock. Then I attached the leaf panel on the right side of the background with foam tapes. I also attached a brown cardstock stripe on the left side of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - We Can See Clearly

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - We Can See Clearly, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I stamped MFT's floral background with pink ink on the white cardstock. Then I die cut the butterfly (from Picket Fence Studios' Monarch Butterfly die) on the background. I back the butterfly with a clear acetate and color it with Copic markers on the back of the butterfly. I attached a pink glitter paper behind the background and used foam tapes to attach the background to the pink card. I white embossed "happy birthday" on a stripe of vellum. Finish the card by attaching some pink gems on the body of the butterfly. Below is another look of the card:

Pinkfresh Studio June 2021 Challenge - Diecuts

Here is Pinkfresh Studio June 2021 Challenge - Diecuts, below is the challenge photo:



And below is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I die cut Pinkfresh Studio's Botanical Oval dies from white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I used Pinkfresh Studio's Lovely Blossoms stamp and die set to stamp the flowers and die cut them. I arranged the leave frame and flowers on the background. I brushed the light blue ink around the background and stamped "I am here for you" (from Pinkfresh Studio's You Can Change the World stamp set) in the middle of the frame. Finish the card by attaching some pearls on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Blessed Beyond Measure

I stamped the background with the text stamps from The Greetery's Pretty Postmarks stamp set with lavender ink and brushed the same ink around the edges. I die cut the Forget Me Nots die set (from The Greetery) from white cardstock and brushed the Distress inks on the flowers and leaves. I assembled the forget-me-nots on the background. I stamped and die cut "blessed" from The Greetery's Blessed Blooms stamp and die set. I white embossed "beyond measure" on dark purple cardstock from the same stamp set. Below is another look of the card:

A Blog Named Hero June Challenge - Monochrome

Here is A Blog Named Hero June Challenge - Monochrome, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I applied three different shades of plum inks on the stamping foam and pressed Hero Arts' Flower Dot Pattern background stamp to create a small reversed image background. I clear embossed the same background stamp on the dark plum cardstock. I white embossed the butterfly (from Hero Arts' Heart Winged Butterfly) on a piece of vellum and wrap it around the small reversed background. I stamped "thinking of you" with plum ink at the bottom of the small reversed background. Finish the card by attaching the small reversed background on the card background and attaching some plum pearls on the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Mixed Media

I applied both Distress inks and Distress Oxide inks on the watercolor paper. I stamped the text background with gray ink. Then I used the dotted leave background to make some texture. I die cut the leaf (from Simon Says Stamp's Laurel Leaves die set) twice from black cardstock and stacked them together. I die cut the "Blessings" (from Photo Play's Blessings stamp & die set) and white embossed "may your life be filled with" on a stripe of black cardstock. I assembled the leave and greeting at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some pearls on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I dry embossed the Altenew's Mega Succulent 3D embossing folder on the white cardstock. Then I used the blending tool to blend Ranger's green Lunar Paste on the whole background. I lightly blended the gold Lunar Paste on the top embossed area. I die cut "hugs" (from Birch Press Design's Big Hugs Sugar Script dies) on vellum (base) and black glitter cardstock (word) and attach it at the bottom of the card. Simon Wednesday Challenge - Masculine

I was inspired by Yana Smakula's 3D embossing folder technique to make this card. I stamped the greeting (from Simon Says Stamp's Just Miss You stamp set) on green cardstock. Then I dry embossed the green cardstock with Altenew's Areca Palm 3D embossing folder. I clear embossing the greeting while the black ink is still wet. Finish the card by lightly wiped the white ink pad on the dry embossed leaves. Below is another look of the card.

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #23 - Fun In The Sun

Here is Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge #23 - Fun in the Sun, below is the challenge photo: 



And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I stamped the caterpillar and leaf (from Hero Arts' Bug You stamp set) with masking technique and colored them with Copic markers. This caterpillar let me think about the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle which is my son's favorite book when he was little. I used Hero Arts' Cloudy Sky Scene dies to cut the cloud, sun, and seagulls. I attached them on top of the card with foam tapes. I also brushed the clear shimmery pen on the sun. Finish the card by stamping "Just wanted to bug you" at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:
