Altenew March 2024 Inspiration Challenge

Here is Altenew March 2024 Inspiration Challenge, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

I used the 3D embossing folder from Altenew's Craft Your Life Project Kit: Splendid Bouquet to emboss on a piece of pink cardstock. I flipped the cardstock and use the debossed side to apply inks with layering stencils. Since I used the debossed side to stencil, so the layering stencils also need to be applied with the reversed sides. For the sentiment, I stamped "happy birthday" from this same kit with pink ink and die cut out with the matching die. Finish the card by dropping some gold glitter glue on the flower centers. Below is another look of the card:

Altenew March 2024 Release Blog Hop + Giveaway ($300 in Total Prizes!)

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Altenew March 2024 ReleaseBlog Hop. I am thrilled to share a snapshot of six cards I’ve created using the new products from Altenew. I hope you’ll enjoy seeing them!

Mini Delight: Plants & Vases

To create the ombre effect, I die cut the vases from watercolor paper and then
watercolored them. The blue enamel dots I attached on the card are the Crystal Clear Enamel Dots which I colored using a blue Altenew alcohol marker.

The big and bold flowers were die cut from cardstock and then 3D dry embossed to add texture. I also used the layering stencils to enhance their vibrant colors. These products made it easy to create a dramatic card with minimal effort.

After gold embossing the flower stamp, I applied watercolors to achieve a peachy tone and create a watercolor effect. The sentiment stamp on this card is also from the same stamp set.

After dry embossing the Rustling Leaves Press Plates, I applied green inks over the stencil to add colors, and then die cut them using the matching dies. I attached the die cut leaves on the 3D embossed background. “Thank you” stamp is from the Splendid Bouquet stamp set. Adding some FrostedFoliage Enamel Dots to finish the card.

With the help of this stamp and die set, achieving a watercolor look for your card becomes effortlessly beautiful. The bottom part of the leaves are from the leftover of the above Rustling Leaves die cuts.

Lovely Floral Hat

This is a stand alone die set to create a beautiful hat with ribbon, flowers, and leaves. I created the die cut hat with cardstocks as the focal point. I stamped the butterflies from the Butterflies stamp set on top of the hat to create a subtle background, adding depth to the design. “Thinking of you” stamp is from the Splendid Bouquet stamp set
