Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #523-524 Christmas Blog Hop

Here is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge Weeks #523-524 Christmas Blog Hop, below is the challenged word art:


And here is the mini slimline card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Altenew's Classic Pinecones 3D embossing folder to run through a brown cardstock. Then I applied green Lunar Paste on the leaves and lightly wiped Delicata Gold Glitz pigment ink pad on the pinecones. I die cut "Merry Christmas" (from Picket Fence's Merry Christmas Word Topper) on the matte gold mirror cardstock (from Simon Says Stamp) and cut two more times on brown cardstocks. I stacked them together and attached it on the background to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Party!

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Party! Below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Spellbinders' Sparkling Mandala dies to cut on a light blue cardstock and stitched it with DMC flosses. Then I backup the die with a blue holographic paper to show through some cut out areas. I used Simon Says Stamp's Kaleidoscope 3D embossing folder to run through a dark blue cardstock. I lightly swiped white ink pad on the embossed areas. I also dropped some glitter glue on the centers of the embossed patterns. Finish the card by attaching the mandala at the background and a greeting strip - Season's Greetings under it. Altenew A Year In Review 2021 Challenge

Here is Altenew A Year In Review 2021 Challenge, below are the challenge photos:


 

I was inspired by the colors of May 2021 inspiration photo (see below) and decided to use this color combinations to make a Christmas card.


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I applied Altenew's Leaf Bed stencil with blue Distress Oxide inks on white cardstock. Then I used Altenew's Hanging Garden die set to cut the white glitter paper as well as two white cardstocks. I stacked them together to make it dimensional and attached it on the background. I die cut another time with white cardstock and brushed the leaves and berries with Distress Oxide inks and inlayed them into the die. I stamped the greetings (from Altenew's Beautiful Inside stamp set) at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some gems on the background. I love this Christmas card with non-tradition Christmas colors. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Bling It On

I used Simon Says Stamp's Christmas Foliage stencil set and brushed Distress Oxide inks to make the background. Then I applied Gina K Designs' iridescent Glitz glitter gel on the whole stenciled area. Let it dry completely. Finish the card by attaching "Merry Christmas" sentiment stripe (from Simon Says Stamp) at the bottom of the card. The card looks very sparkle and shiny. Below is another look of the card:

I used Simon Says Stamp's Holly Branch 3D embossing folder to run though a dark green cardstock. Then I lightly pad white pigment ink pad on the embossed area. I applied Iulie's red metallic watercolor on the berries to make them popped out and shiny. I used Simon Says Stamp's Scandinavian Christmas 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the white cardstock background. I stamped the girl (from Unity Stamp's Cold Outside stamp set) on white cardstock and colored her with Copic markers. Then I used scissors to fussy cut the girl and attach her at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching Simon Says Stamp's sentiment stripe "Merry Christmas" on the right of the girl. Simon Monday Challenge - Santa

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Santa, below is the challenge photo:

I stamped the background using Simon Says Stamp's Hand-Lettered Holiday background stamp with light gray ink. I silver embossed around the background. I stamped the Santa (from Inky Antics' Santa's Helpers cube stamp) on a white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Then I cut out the Santa and attach it at the bottom of the card with foam tapes. Finish the card by attaching the greeting stripe "Ho Ho Ho" (from Simon Says Stamp) and some glitter gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I stamped this cute elf from MFT's Christmas sELFies stamp set, colored it with Copic markers and cut it out. I mount it on the green cardstock and black embossed the greeting at the bottom of green cardstock. I stamped three little ornaments (from MFT's Happy Pawidays stamp set) on a piece of white cardstock, colored them with Copic markers and brushed the clear shimmery pen on them. I fussy cut out the ornaments and foam mounted on the side of elf image. Finish the card by attaching some gems into the elf square. Below is another look of the card:

I white embossed the snowflakes and greeting (from Simon Says Stamp's Snowflake Edges stamp set) on a piece of light blue cardstock. Then I applied three blue shades of Distress Oxide inks from top to bottom, leaving some light blue cardstock color at the bottom. I put some blue glitter glue on the snowflakes. I used Altenew's Layered Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to dry embossed the white background. Then I die cut the Jolly Ho Ho Ho dies (from Spellbinders) from red and glitter red cardstock, and stacked them together to add dimension. I also insert the vellum into the "O" to backup the empty spaces. Finish the card by adding two thin red glitter stripes on top and bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

I stamped the poinsettias and greeting (from Colorado Craft Company's Slimline Poinsettias stamp set) with Versafine onyx black ink pad on watercolor paper and clear embossed them. Then I watercolor the poinsettias with Iuile metallic watercolors. I also highlight the edges of poinsettias with metallic light blue ink to finish the card. It's very shimmery and sparkle. I used Altenew's Perfect Poinsettias 3D embossing folder to run through a red cardstock. Then I lightly applied white pigment ink on the raised embossed images. I sprinkled JudiKins' iridescent sparkle embossing powder on the white pigment ink and heat embossed. It created a sugar coated and sparkling effect. Finish the card by cutting a stripe of the pre-printed sentiment from Simon Says Stamp at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

I stamped the layered snowflake (from Hero Arts' Color Layering Snowflake stamp set) with 3 different shades of blue inks on white cardstock, and cut it out with matching die. I die cut the snowflake on white cardstock twice and stack them together to make it more dimensional. On a piece of white cardstock background, I stamped the two layered snowflakes with two different shades of blue grey inks. I decorated the snowflakes with glitter glues. I also stamped some small flakes with Veramark ink and silver embossed them. I attached the large three layered blue snowflake on the background. I also stamped the greeting at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some blue gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I white embossed the trees background stamp (from Impression Obsession) on the white cardstock. Then I blended in three Distress Oxide inks - Blueprint Sketch, Peacock Feathers, and Evergreen Bough on the background to resist the trees. I silver embossed "Merry Christmas" (from Hero Arts' Color Layering Snowflake stamp set) on a piece of vellum and attached it at the bottom of the card.
