Simon Wednesday Challenge - Clean And Simple

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Clean And Simple, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

This card was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's alcohol ink on black background technique. I used Tim Holtz's alcohol ink matte black cardstock as the background. I sprinkled some alcohol ink blending solution on the black cardstock, then I dropped some Snow Cap alcohol ink on top of the blending solution and use a dry brush to blend them together. I sprinkled blue alcohol pearl and silver mixative on the background and blown out the inks. Let it dry completely. I applied Gink K Design's black ink on Simon Says Stamp's Love Is Background stamp and stamped on the background. I die cut Simon Says Stamp's Tender Leaves die set with light blue cardstock. I also die cut Simon's "Sending" word die with light blue cardstock and holographic paper, then stacked them together. I white embossed "lots of love" (from Simon's Sending Happy Thoughts stamp set) on a stripe of black cardstock. Finish the card by assembling all die cuts on the background and attaching a blue gem on the top of sending die's i. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:

Cardstock: Tim Holtz alcohol ink matte black cardstock, Stampin' Up, Simon Says Stamp holographic paper

Inks: Gina K Designs, alcohol inks, Versamark

Stamps: Simon Says Stamp

Dies: Simon Says Stamp

Others: white embossing powder, gem
