Simon Monday Challenge - Wild With Washi

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Wild With Washi, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I have lots of washi tapes accumulated from the days I was making scrapbooks and planners. So, I glued down different washi tapes to make the background. I die cut "hello" from Birch Press Design's Big Hello die sets with vellum, white cardstock, and holographic paper, then I stacked them together and put it in the middle of the card. Finish the card by attaching some blue and purple gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Food And/or Drink

I made a slimline card with Colorado Craft Company's Aloha Pineapple stamp set. I stamped the big pineapple on a piece of white cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. Then I cut out the pineapple and attached it on a piece of light blue cardstock. I blended some blue Distress Oxide inks under the pineapple. I stamped "you're sweet" (from Concord & 9th's Pop Art Pineapple stamp set) on top of the card. Finish the card by attaching some yellow gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Altenew July 2021 Inspiration Challenge

I dry embossed the watercolor paper with Altenew's Mega Succulent 3D embossing folder. Then I used ZIG Clean Color Real Brush Pens to watercolor the 3D image. I white embossed "thinking of you" (from Altenew's Beautiful Inside stamp set) on a stripe of black cardstock and foam mount on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Emboss It

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Emboss It, below is the challenge photo:

I used Altenew's Areca Palm 3D embossing folder and dry embossed on a piece of watercolor paper. Then I sprinkled different shades of green and blue Infusion powders (from Paper Artsy) on the background and spritzed water. Once the background completely dry, it looks like a pretty cool fossil leaves background. I applied Versamark ink around the background and gold embossed it. I gold embossed the greeting (from Heffy Doodle's Everyday Sentiment Duos stamp set) on a stripe of vellum and attached it at the bottom of the background. Below is another look of the card:

A Blog Named Hero Challenge - Repeat Yourself

I used some old Hero Arts stamps to make this card. I stamped the large flower four times on the plum cardstock background and colored part of the flowers with Polychromos colored pencils. I stamped the small flower on white cardstock and colored it with Altenew alcohol markers. I cut a square in the middle of the background and attached the plum background with foam tapes on the purple card. I cut the small flower into a square and attached it into the cut out square space on the background. Finish the card by dropped some black enamel accents on the small flower. Below is another look of the card:

I used the butterfly layering dies to cut three butterflies with white cardstock and the bottom butterfly was cut with blue holographic cardstock. I blended different shade of blue inks on the three butterflies. I die cut "blessed" with two white cardstock and one blue holographic cardstock and stacked them together. I also die cut the background with the debossed pattern. Finish the card by assembling butterfly and "blessed" together. Below is another look of the card:

Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #497 - #498

Here is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #497-#498, below is the challenged word art:

I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's layering die technique and used the layering butterfly dies to create layering paper stencils. Then I apply four different shades of blue inks to make the layered butterflies on the background. I hand drew butterflies' antenna with black pen and put black enamel on the top. I heat embossed "happy birthday" on a stipe of vellum and attached it at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching some blue gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

For the background, I used Simon Says Stamp's In the Round stencil, Distress Oxide inks, and Gelli plate to make it. I colored the elephant (from Paper Artsy's ZA38) with Copic markers and cut it out. I attached the elephant with foam tapes on the background. I stamped "sending happy thoughts" (from Simon Says Stamp's Just Miss You stamp set) at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by dropped some glitter glue on the background.
