I also white embossed the greeting (from The Ink Road - Bun Intended 3 stamp set) on the navy background. Finish the card by attaching the little girl (with foam tapes), balloon, and stars on the background as well as some star sequins. Below is another look of the card:

Very Merry

Here are the two challenges I would like to attend this week:

1) Simon Wednesday Challenge - Stamp It, below is the challenge photo:

2) Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #559-560, below is the challenged word art:

And here is the card I made to attend the above two challenges:

Tim Holtz's new Distress watercolor pencils are just coming out. I saw Tim's demo video and would like to see if my Inktense watercolor pencils can work similar to the Distress watercolor pencils. I pressed the Vintage Photo Distress Ink pad on my work surface and spritz with water. Then I applied a piece of watercolor paper to create the inky background. I stamped the text background (from Tim Holtz's Ledger Script stamp set) and holly berries & leaves (from Tim Holtz's Christmas Blueprint 4 stamp set) on the inky background with black Archival ink pad. Then I used my Inktense watercolor pencils to color into the berries and leaves. I used the water brush to blend the colors and found no smudged colors. It works great! I cut out a piece of "very merry" from Simon Says Stamp's sentiment stripes and attach it at the bottom of the background. I dry embossed a white cardstock with Spellbinders' leaves embossing folder and attached the finished inky background in the center. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:

Cardstock: Gina K Designs, Tim Holtz watercolor paper

Ink Pads: Distress ink, Archival ink

Stamps: Tim Holtz

Embossing Folder: Spellbinders
