I made this slimline card with Simon Says Stamp's Ho Ho Postage stamp set. First of all, I gold embossing and green embossing the postage images on the background. Then I blended different green shades of Distress Oxide inks on the background. Finish the card by using the clear Wink of Stella pen to highlight some of the images. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Layer It Up

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Layer It Up, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

I used the slimline tag die to cut a piece of white cardstock and use Memory Box's embossing folder to run it through Gemini Jr. die cutting machine. I used blending brush to blend Distress Oxide inks on the dry embossed area. I silver embossed "believe" (from Simon Says Stamp's Believe stamp set) and stamped "in the magic of Christmas" with purple ink. I used Sakura Stardust clear pen to highlight the snow and layered the tag panel on the dark purple cardstock background to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Make A Card + Envelope

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Make A Card + Envelope, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the slimline card with matching envelope I made to attend this challenge:



I stamped the little girl image (from Penny Black's Sweet Sledder) on white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I white embossed the greeting (from Papertrey Ink's Years of Psalms December set) on top of the card. Then I blended in Distress Oxide inks with different shades of blue to finish the card. For the matching envelope, I just white embossed the stars from the same set in PTI's Years of Psalms). Below is the look of the card with matching envelope:

Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #460-#461

Here is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #460-#461, below is the challenged word art:

I stamped the hill, houses, and tress (from Julie Hickey Designs' A Winter's Scene stamp set) on the white cardstock, colored it with Copic markers and cut them down. I white embossed Merry Christmas (from Simon Says Stamp's Critter Sweaters stamp set) and "from our house to yours" (from Julie Hickey Designs) on the navy cardstock. I applied the start stencil (from Tim Holtz) on the navy background and used Versamrk ink on the stars. Then I used dry brush to brush Perfect Pearls powders on the stars to make them shiny. I also sprinkled water mist to set them. Finish the card by attaching the hill, trees, and houses scene at the bottom of the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Make It Sparkle

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Make It Sparkle, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the slimline card I made to attend this challenge: 


I die cut the reindeers and hearts (from MFT's Deer Love dies) with copper glitter paper. I freehand cut a slope with white cardstock and heat embossed the border with glitter embossing powder. I assembled the deer and attached them on the slope. I white embossed "Merry Christmas" (from Julie Hickey Designs' A Winter's Scene stamp set) on top of the card. Finish the card by attaching copper hearts on the background, dropping the black enamel on deer's eyes and red glitter glue on deer's noses. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Dry Embossing

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Dry Embossing, below is the challenge photo:

I used the embossing folder to dry emboss the white cardstock and light brushed the dry embossed area with Distress Oxide inks. I die cut a square on the background and die cut "joy" to attach it on the red cardstock. I used the foam sheet to attach at the back of the dry embossed background to lift it up on the red cardstock. Below is another look of the card:

A Blog Named Hero Challenge - Clean & Simple

Here is A Blog Named Hero Challenge - Clean & Simple, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I applied Twisted Citron Distress Oxide ink on the white cardstock, then I stamped Hero Arts' Noel Print Bold Prints on the background with Peeled Paint Distress Oxide ink on it. I stamped Hero Arts' Nordic Holiday Bold Print on the background and clear embossed it. Then, I blended Mowed Lawn and Pine Needles Distress Oxide on the background to resist the clear embossed images. Finish the card by gold embossed "warm winter wishes" (from Hero Arts' Snowy Town stamp set) on a stripe of dark red cardstock and attached some gems on the background. I made a slimline card by stamping the bear & hedgehog (from Penny Black's Starlight stamp) and white embossed the Psalm 96:11 (from Papertrey Ink's Year of Psalms). Then, I masked the bear & hedgehog and blended the background with four different Distress Oxide inks. I colored the bear & hedgehog with Copic markers. Finish the card by drawing some small white dots with white gel pen on the sky and put some black enamel on bear's eye and nose. Below is another look of the card:
