Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero July 2023 Challenge

Here is Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero July 2023 Challenge - Here Comes The Sun, below is the challenge photo:

 


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Hero Arts' Cloudy Sky Scene Dies set to die cut clear transparencies (recycled from clear stamps set) to make my own stencils. Then I blended in yellow and orange to create the sun. I masked the sun and used cloud stencils (made from dies) to blend in different colors to make the colorful sky. I stamped "Hello!" (from Hero Arts' Spring Hello stamps set) on the background. Finish the card by die cutting some seagulls from black cardstock and attached them on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Hugs Postage Card

Here are the two challenges I would like to attend this week:

And below is the card I would like to attend the above two challenges:


I used Penny Black's Posted stamps set and Abloom stamps set to make the large floral postage stamp, water colored them with ZIG Clean Color Real brush pens.  Then I used the matching Posted die to cut it out. I used Simon Says Stamp's Fantasy Butterflies 3D embossing folder to dry embossed the lavender cardstock. I attached the large postage stamp die on the background. I die cut Penny Black's Hugs edger dies set to cut "hugs" and matching background to attach at the bottom of the card with foam tapes. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - 4 Legged Friends

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - 4 Legged Friends, below is the challenge photo:

I used Penny Black's Posted stamps and dies set to make the large postage stamp die. I stamped the bear and snowman (from Penny Black's Snow Cute stamps set) in the postage stamp and watercolor them with ZIG Clean Color Real brush pens. I used Simon Says Stamp's Refined Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the navy cardstock, then I applied white ink on the embossed areas. Finish the card by attaching the large postage stamp die on the background. I stamped the "Merry Christmas" greeting inside the card. Below is another look of the card:

Pinkfresh Studio July 2023 Challenge - Go Geometric

Here is Pinkfresh Studio July 2023 Challenge - Go Geometric, below is the challenge photo:

 


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I hot foil Pinkfresh Studio's Geo Tiles hot foil plate on white cardstock with blue foil. Then I used alcohol markers to color blue, pink and yellow in some of the spaces on the background. I cut out the center and used foam tapes to attach the background on card base with blue cardstock in the cut-out space. I used Pinkfresh Studio's Modern Scripted Sentiment stamps and dies set to white embossed "many thanks" on black cardstock, then cut out with the matching die. I attached "many thanks" in the middle of cut-out space. Finish the card by attaching some glitter drops on the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Shimmer And Shine

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Shimmer and Shine, below is the challenge photo:

I used Lindy's Gang Magicals shimmery powders on watercolor paper to make green and red background. I used The Greetery's Big Branches Pine dies and Poppystamps' Pine Needle Shoots dies to cut out the green pine leaves to assemble a wreath on the white background. Then I die cut the bow (from The Greetery's Put A Bow On It die) from red shimmery watercolor paper I made, and attach it on top of the wreath. I also die cut "Merry Christmas" (from Simon Says Stamp's Flourished Merry Christmas dies) from the same red shimmery watercolor paper and attach it on the dark green cardstock. Finish the card by attaching "Merry Christmas" in the middle of the card. I love the retro look of this Christmas card. Below is another look of the card:

Gina K Designs July 2023 Monthly Mix Challenge - Christmas In July

Here is Gina K Designs July 2023 Monthly Mix Challenge - Christmas In July, below is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I blended 4 different green colors of Distress Oxide inks on the white cardstock. I stamped the main image from Gina K Designs' Holiday Tapestry stamps set on top of the card and letter stamps (from Gina K Designs' Winter Wishes stamps set) on the background with black pigment ink and clear embossed them. I used the gold brush pen to color into the letters as well as the ornaments on the little Christmas tree. Finish the card by attaching some glitter gems on the background. I applied different colors of alcohol inks on the Yupo paper to make the background. I die cut the leaf (from Simon Says Stamp's Etched Laurel Leaves dies) with Lawn Fawn's pearlescent vellum. I also die cut "hello" (from Altenew's Fancy Hello die) with black glitter cardstock (from Memory Box). Finish the card by assembling them together on the alcohol ink background. Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #603-604

I white embossed the snowflakes (from Simon Says Stamp's Snowflake Edges stamps set) and greetings (from Simon Says Stamp's Christmas Blessings stamps set) on the watercolor paper. Then I applied Arteza Real Brush Pens of glitter colors on the background - from dark blue to light blue. I die cut the tree border (from Simon Says Stamp's Little Evergreen Trees die) from dark blue cardstock and highlight the tree with white acrylic pen. Finish the card by attaching some Studio Katia's silver fever discs on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Summer Mood Board

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Summer Mood Board, below is the challenge photo:

I applied different colors of Distress Oxide inks on the white cardstock. I stamped the Eiffel Tower stamp (from Tim Holtz) on the background with blue archival ink, then I over stamped the text stamp (from Tim Holtz) with light blue archival ink on the Eiffel Tower. I used Simon Says Stamp's Winter Berries 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the background, then I lightly applied brown Distress Oxide ink on the embossed areas. Finish the card by stamping "Rejoice in the Lord" (from Simon Says Stamp' Tiny Words Faith stamps set) on a piece of light blue cardstock, and attach it at the bottom of the card. I used Altenew's Patchwork Tiles stencils and stamps set to make the background. This background reminds me the Portugal tiles during our Portugal & Spanish trip in June. The sentiment (from Altenew's Sentiment Strips stamps set) was white embossed on a strip of navy cardstock. Finish the card by dropping some glitter glue as well as some glitter drops on the tiles. Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero June 2023 Challenge

Here is Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero June 2023 Challenge - A Sentimental Journey, below is the challenge photo:

 


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I picked this old Hero Arts set - Asian Dolls wood stamps set from my collections to make this card. I stamped these two little cute dolls on white cardstock and colored them with alcohol markers and gold gel pen. Then I fussy cut them. I gold embossed the "thank you" greetings on both dark blue and dark pink cardstock. I attached two little dolls on light pink and light blue cardstock. Finish the card by making a color blocking background on a black cardstock. Below is another look of the card:
