Gina K Designs April 2024 Monthly Mix Challenge - Multi-Color Inking

Here is Gina K Designs April 2024 Monthly Mix Challenge - Multi-Color Inking. Below is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I stamped the sentiment (from Gina K Designs' Better Together stamps set) in the center of the white cardstock. Then I stamped the leaves (from Gina K Designs' Layered Leaves stamps set) with multi-color inking technique to show different shades of green, blue, and purple. I used silver metallic watercolor to color the little heart in the sentiment and splattered the silver metallic watercolor over the whole card. Below is another look of the card:

I used Simon Says Stamp's Horizon Lines stencil and Waves of Change stencil to make the sandy beach and waves. I die cut three little shells (from Gummiapan) and colored them with alcohol markers and shimmer pen. I stamped the sentiment (from Gummiapan) on the background to complete the card. Simon Monday Challenge - Make Your Own Background

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Make Your Own Background. Below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Altnew's Angled Mosaic 3D embossing folder to run through a heavy weight vellum. Then I used my finger to apply a thin layer of Lunar Paste with different colors - from silver to blue to purple. I made a Lunar Paste skin (learned from Tiffany Solorio's YouTube video) with Simon Says Stamp's Lumen 3D embossing folder and Lunar Paste. I cut the Lunar Paste skin half and attached both of them on top and bottom of the background. Finish the card by die cut "hello" (from Altenew's Fancy Hello die) on a blue glitter cardstock and attach it on the card. Below is another look of the card:

MFT Stamps Color Challenge 234

I stamped the flower (from MFT Stamps' Sketchy Blooms stamps set) on white cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. Then I used a hand-made stencil from a circle die to blend in blue ink around the flower image. I stamped "feel better soon" from MFT Stamps' First Class Friend stamps set. Finish the card by attaching some Lunar Paste skin I made at the corners with Lunar Paste and 3D embossing folder. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Spring Flowers

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Spring Flowers, below is the challenge photo:

I white embossed the flower (from Altenew's Vintage Garden stamps set) and sentiment (from Altenew's Sweet Ginkgo stamps set) on black cardstock. Then I applied a Lunar Paste skin which was made with 3 colors of Lunar Paste (rosy cheeks, love struck, and triple berry) on Altenew's Waffled Diamonds 3D embossing folder. The Lunar Paste needs to apply a thick layer on the embossing folder and let it dry completely. I learned this technique from Tiffany Solorio's YouTube video. Below is another look of the card:

Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #643-644

Here is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #643-644, below is the challenged word art:

The piece of Lunar Paste skin I made was inspired by Tiffany Solorio's YouTube video. I put a thick layer of three different colors of Lunar Paste on the Altenew's Luxurious Motifs 3D embossing folder and let it dry completely overnight. Then I peel off the Lunar Paste skin from the embossing folder. I cut it to fit my kraft card background. This piece is the other half from the card I made last time. I just simply stamped "warm hugs" (from MFT Stamps' Sunny Rays Sentiments stamps set) at the bottom of the card to finish it. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Happy Birthday

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Happy Birthday, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend the challenge:


I used the balloon stencil (from The Greetery) and Distress Oxide ink to brush it on white cardstock. Then I used the matching balloon string die to cut from black glitter cardstock. I die cut little flowers and leaves (from The Greetery) on color cardstocks and attached them on the string. I stamped "happy birthday" (from Simon Says Stamp's Clean Line Everyday stamps set) on the balloon. Finish the card by dropping black enamel accent on the flower centers. MFT Color Challenge 233

I white embossed MFT's Harmonious Hibiscus background stamp on a piece of white cardstock. Then I applied four colors of Distress Oxide inks on the background to resist the image. I die cut "happy" (from MFT's Happy Occasions die) from black cardstock twice and stacked them together on the background. I white embossed "for you" (from MFT's Happy Occasions stamps set) on a piece of black cardstock and attached it under "happy". Below is another look of the card:

The piece of Lunar Paste skin I made was inspired by Tiffany Solorio's YouTube video. I put a thick layer of three different colors of Lunar Paste on the Altenew's Luxurious Motifs 3D embossing folder and let it dry completely overnight. I used Simon Says Stamp's Horizon Lines stencil and Distress Oxid inks to make the horizon lines and trees. I stamped the airplane with banner (from Simon Says Stamp's Home Sweet Home stamps set) on top of the card and colored with alcohol markers. Finish the card by highlighting some of the plane's metal parts with stardust pen. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Emboss It

I used Altenew's Dreamy Tiles 3D embossing folder to press through a navy cardstock and applied white ink on the embossed areas. Then I cut out each square tile and assemble them diagonally to make a border. I stamped the lantern on the top right of the card and stamped the greeting on top of the tile border. The stamps set is from a discontinued Waltzing Mouse Stamps' Asian Garden Additions set. Below is another look of the card:

He Is Risen

I stamped the flower (from Gummiapan) from the right bottom corner of the white card base and colored it with Copic markers. I stamped "he is risen" (from Simon Says Stamp's Clean Line Faith stamps set) at the bottom of the card. I put a purple cardstock stripe on the left of the card as well as a triangle cut out at the right bottom corner. Finish the card by attaching some lavender glitter glue on the flower. Below is another look of the card:

Gina K Designs March 2024 Monthly Mix Challenge - Lattice Make A Spring Card

Here is Gina K Designs March 2024 Monthly Mix Challenge - Lattice Make A Spring Card. And below is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used the white woodgrain cardstock to make the lattice and blended in brown color to make them look like real wood. I attached the lattice background on a pink card base. I die cut Gina K Designs' Floral Banner die on white cardstock and leave all die cut pieces on the die. I colored the die pieces with Copic markers. Then I die cut the Floral Banner again with pearl cardstock and attached it on top of the colored die. I die cut "grateful" (from Gina K Designs' Fluttering Fall dies set) from white cardstock and color it with Copic markers to create the ombre effect matching the flower dies. I attached "grateful" on the vellum with the matching die. Finish the card by attaching flower die and grateful die on the lattice background. Below is another look of the card:

I stamped Hero Arts' Antique Hero Map Bold Prints background stamp on a kraft cardstock and applied Versamark ink pad around the background to gold emboss the borders. I gold embossed the bottle and boat (from Hero Arts' Message In A Bottle stamps and dies set) from white cardstock die and colored with Copic markers. I fussy cut out the inside of the bottle and placed a transparency film on the bottle. I attached the boat on the map and used foam tapes to attach the bottle on top of the boat. I also gold embossed the greeting (from Hero Arts' Message In A Bottle stamps set) on the kraft cardstock and shaded the brown color ink around the greeting. Below is another look of the card:

I used Altenew's Leaf Mix die set to cut different green colors of cardstock. Then I arranged them on the white background. I stamped the greeting (from Altenew's Sentiment Strips stamps set) on top or the leaves with green ink. Finish the card by attaching the white panel on a green card base. Altenew March 2024 Inspiration Challenge

Here is Altenew March 2024 Inspiration Challenge, below is the challenge photo:





And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used the 3D embossing folder from Altenew's Craft Your Life Project Kit: Splendid Bouquet to emboss on a piece of pink cardstock. I flipped the cardstock and use the debossed side to apply inks with layering stencils. Since I used the debossed side to stencil, so the layering stencils also need to be applied with the reversed sides. For the sentiment, I stamped "happy birthday" from this same kit with pink ink and die cut out with the matching die. Finish the card by dropping some gold glitter glue on the flower centers.
