Simon Wednesday Challenge - Party Time

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Party Time, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:



I used Iuile metallic watercolors to paint different colors on a piece of black cardstock. Then I took Simon Says Stamp's Birthday Balloons dies to cut the balloons out from the painted cardstock. I attached the balloons on a piece of dark grey cardstock and silver embossed the greeting (from Simon Says Stamp's Christmas Blessings stamps set) at the bottom of the card. I also silver embossed around the edges of the dark grey cardstock. Finish the card by drawing some white stings with white gel pen and attaching some silver disc sequins on the card. Altenew Ultimate Inspiration Challenge - Year In Review Challenge 2023

Here is Altenew Ultimate Inspiration Challenge - Year In Review Challenge 2023, below are the challenge photos:



I would like to pick June 2023 challenge as my inspiration to make a card. Below is the June 2023 challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend the challenge:


I used Altenew's Cherry Plum Blossom 3D embossing folder on a piece of kraft cardstock. I applied Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors of white color on the blossoms, let it dry. Then I applied peony purple and pink on top of the white blossoms. After the watercolors are completed dry, I applied yellow color on the center of the blossoms as well as pistils. For the stems and leaves, I just used two different shades of green watercolors. I used the black ink to stamp "happy birthday" (from Altenew's Ornamental Bliss stamps set) at the bottom of the card to finish it. Below is another look of the card:

I applied Spellbinders' Notched Corner Florals 3D embossing folder on a black cardstock. Then I used my finger to apply different colors of Lunar Paste to color the embossed images. I silver embossed the Bible verses (from Penny Black's All Great Things stamps set) in the middle of the card to finish it. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Let It Snow

I used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage die to cut a postage background from white cardstock. Then I used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Coloring stencil to mask the background and applied snowflakes stencil (from Carta Bella) on top to blend in blue colors of snowflakes. I used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage stamps set and "let it snow" stamp (from Simon Says Stamp's Tiny Words Christmas stamps set) to stamp on the background. I die cut "joy" from Simon Says Stamp's Chunky Joy dies and attached it on the center of the card to finish it. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero December 2023 Challenge - Shiny

Here is Stay Crafty With A Blog Named Hero December 2023 Challenge - Shiny, below is the challenge photo:

I gold embossed the background (from Hero Arts' Christmas Foliage stamps set) on white cardstock twice. Then I colored some of the flower & leaf images with Iuile metallic watercolors and used the matching dies to cut them out. On the other gold embossed background, I also colored some of the images with Iuile metallic watercolors, then I attached those stacked die cut images to the background to make them popped out from the background. I brushed light green ink around the panel and attached it on a dark green cardstock. I told embossed "Merry Christmas" at the bottom of the dark green cardstock and attached the dark green cardstock to a grass green card base. Finish the card by attaching some glitter gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #625-626

I did not use the challenged Bible verses on my journal page, but instead, I want to use "grace" to celebrate the Christmas. I handwrote "grace" with ZIG Brushables dual tip markers and thin black marker to outline the letters. Then I wrote the Bible verses from 2 Corinthians 12:9. I applied Distress Oxide inks on the Charity Stamp's Art Nouveau Three Roses stencil to make the border at the bottom of the journal page. Finish the page by dropping some purple glitter glue dots here and there. Below is another look of the page:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Use Craft Dies

I used one of the Spellbinders' 12 Days of Stitchmas dies set to make the sparkling gift. I used the cute gnome die (from Gummiapan) to create the little gnome holding a message. The message greeting (from Simon Says Stamp's Holiday Typewriters stamps set) was white embossed on a piece of red cardstock. For the background, I used Altenew's Layered Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to dry embossed the white cardstock. Finish the card by assembling all elements together. MFT Sketch Challenge 674

Here is My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge 674, below is the challenged sketch:

I stamped the little Christmas icons from MFT's Iconic Christmas stamps set on a piece of white cardstock with different colors of dye inks. Then I attached the panel on a green card base. I attached two thin stripes of green glitter cardstock on top and bottom of the panel. I stamped the large Christmas tree (from MFT's Happy Pawlidays stamps set) on white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers. I fussy cut out the tree and attached it on the bottom right of the panel with foam tapes. I stamped "Merry Christmas" under the panel to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:

I used Lisa Horton Crafts' Crocus Field 3D embossing folder and matching die to dry emboss and cut out the flower border. Then I used Distress reinkers to water color the flowers and leaves. I attached the flower border with foam tapes at the bottom of the card. I stamped the greeting (from Penny Black's Blessed Builder stamps set) on top of the card. Finish the card by attaching some ombre glitter gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I used Simon Says Stamp's Refined Snowflakes 3D embossing folder to dry emboss on a white cardstock. Then I applied three different colors of Lunar Paste with brayer on the reversed side of the embossed background. I used the leftover cardstock for brayer to die cut a snowflake with the matching die. I stacked this big snowflake three times to make it dimensional and attached it on the background. I white embossed "joy" (from Simon Says Stamp's Holiday Typewriter stamps set) on a piece of navy cardstock and attached it on the background. Finish the card by dropping some glitter glue on the big die cut snowflake. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Thinking Of You

I used small brayer and different colors of dye inks to make a background. Then I sprinkled the Lindy's Stamp Gang Magical powders with water to make the background looks shimmery. I applied different stencils and stamp to make the background a layered look. I dry embossed a white cardstock with Spellbinders' Origami Folds 3D embossing folder. I also die cut "thinking of you" border (from MFT's Thinking of You border die) on a dark orange cardstock. Finish the card by assembling white 3D embossed background, the colorful layered background, gold glitter stripes, and thinking of you border die together. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes, below is the challenge photo:

I applied Simon Hurley's Lunar Paste (Slippery When Wet) on the watercolor paper, then I sprayed Distress Mica Spray (Tarnish Brass) on top of the it. Let it dry completely. I gold embossed Simon Says Stamp's Hand-Lettered Holiday background partially on the background to create a tone on tone effect. I used Simon Says Stamp's Ho Ho Deer Circle die to cut out a deer on the background. I gold embossed the greeting (from Simon Says Stamp's Snowflake Edges stamps set) on a stripe of vellum and attached it under the deer die. Finish the card by attaching the background with foam tapes on a dark brown card base and using the white gel pen to draw some white snow dots around the deer die. I used the stocking dies set from Spellbinders' 12 Days of Stitchmas to assemble and stitch the stocking die. I stamped and white embossed "Ho Ho Ho" (from Simon Says Stamp's Tiny Words Christmas stamps set) on the stocking. I used Altenew's Perfect Poinsettias 3D embossing folder to run through a red cardstock. I lightly pressed white ink pad on the dry embossed images. I die cut a stitched oval from white cardstock. Finish the card by assembling the stocking on the oval die and attaching it to the embossed background. Below is another look of the card:

I stamped the border image from Pinkfresh Studio's Tidings of Great Joy stamps set and used the matching die to cut it out the center. I used the Distress reinkers to color the images. I used Distress Oxide inks to blend four different colors on the white background. I stamped the greeting on the blended background. I used the foam tapes to attached the border die cut on top of the background. Finish the card by attaching some glitter gems. Below is another look of the card:

Altenew October 2023 Inspiration Challenge

Here is Altenew October 2023 Inspiration Challenge, below is the challenge photo:

I was inspired not only the color combinations of this month's challenge, but also inspired by Erum from Altenew for the technique on the 3D embossing folder. I used Altenew's Peony Sunshine 3D embossing folder to emboss on the pink cardstock. Then I flip the cardstock and use the other side to blend in red, orange, and pink Distress inks on the whole background. I white embossed "praying for you" (from Altenew's Sentiment Strips stamps set) on top of the background. Finish the card by attaching the panel on the white card base. I love this bold and clean look of the card. Below is another look of the card:

I used Penny Black's Posted stamps and die to create a die cut postage stamp. Then I stamped Penny Black's snowman mug from Penny Black's Mugs of Joy stamps set into the postage stamp. I colored the snowman mug with Distress reinkers. For the background, I used Penny Black's Stick & Shine's Extraordinary set and Deco Foil to make the snowflakes background. Finish the card by white embossed the greeting (from Simon Says Stamp's Snowflake Edges stamps set) at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:
