Love Birds

Here is the card I made for both Lawnscaping Challenge No. 98 - Create a background and Runway Inspired Challenge ric#76 - Carven. Below are the challenge photos:

1) Lawnscaping Challenge:

2) Runway Inspired Challenge:

Below is the card I made to attend both challenges:

I used Lawn Fawn's heart border stamp from the Belinda's Borders set to create the white embossed background. Then, I applied three different colors of Distress ink pads to make the embossing resist background. Below is the look of the background:

Then, I die cut a heart shape from a white cardstock and stamp the two little birds (from Chit Chat set) and a red heart thread (from Winter Penguin set) on it. I also stamped these birds on another white cardstock and colored with Copic markers and cut them out. I attached the two birds with foam tapes on top of the birds on the heart die cut to create dimension. I brushed the edge of heart die cut with three different colors of Distress ink pads and put two heart shaped enamel dots on the heart die cut. I also stamped the "love" speech bubble from Chit Chat set (I was having fun to mix and match these Lawn Fawn's stamp sets) and cut it out. I attached the love speech bubble and heart die with foam tapes on the background to finish this card. Below is a closer look of the heart die cut:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: Lawn Fawn
Die: Little B (heart)
Ink Pads: Memento, Distress ink pads
Others: white embossing powder, Copic markers, foam tapes, enamel dots

You're Lovely

Here is the card I made with heart shape die and Paper Smooches stamp set - Blossoming Buds:

After cut out the heart shape card, I stamped the flowers around the heart border and colored with Copic markers. I also highlighted some flowers with the clear Wink of the Stella pen to make a little shine. I die cut the hearts from Paper Smooches' Hearts Dies with double sided adhesive tape and sprinkled glitters on them. Below is another look of the card:

And a closer look of the glittery hearts:

Virginia's View Challenge #11 (Clean Slate)

This is my first time to attend Virginia's View Challenge. I saw the past challenges and the winning cards were all amazing. Here is the new challenge #11 - clean slate. Below is the challenge photo:

I decide to make a two-layer card with lots of white space & texture. First, I watercolored the bottom layer with peony color in the center and around the border (see below):

Then, I cut a circle on the top layer of white cardstock and dry embossed with a checker board embossing folder. I also cut out a piece of flower die cut and attached it on the top layer under the circle. I glued some foam dots behind the top layer as well as the center of the flower to layer it down on the bottom watercolor background.  Below is the finished card:

I heat embossed the greeting inside the card with a matching peony color as the card front.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: Mama Elephant
Dies: Memory Box (flower), Spellbinders (circle)
Ink Pads: Versamark
Others: Embossing Folder, embossing glitter, watercolor, foam dots

Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Winter Wonder & Simon Wednesday Challenge

Here is the Curtain Call Inspiration Challenge - Winter Wonder. Below is the inspiration photo:

I was inspired by the colors of this challenge photo - white, kraft, and silver colors and decided to make a card with Altenew's Persian Motifs set. Here is the finished card:

I stamped the flowers and white embossed on Neenah desert storm cardstock.  Then, I colored the flowers and leaves with Pumice Stone Distress marker. I brushed the clear Wink of the Stella glitter pen to watercolor with the Distress marker. It gives the card both watercolor and shimmery look. Finished the card by stamping "Happy Birthday" and white embossed it. Here is another look of the card:

Below are the closer looks of the flowers:

I also have this card to attend Simon Says Stamp's Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes:

Supplies:
Cardstock: Neenah, PTI

Rose Gold Pendant & Bracelet

Rose gold jewelries are pretty popular these days. Here I made a rose gold pendant & bracelet. They are not a set, but you can wear them together and they look matched. Here are the pendant & bracelet:

The pendant was made by both rose gold and pink Swarovski 4mm bicones. It's very simple and easy to make. For the bracelet, I used the spike rose gold Swarovski beads as the focal points, and added some Swarovski gold bicones, gold mini beads, and gold pearls to finish the bracelet. Below is another look of the finished jewelries:

Bokeh Effect Thank You Card

Happy New Year everyone! Today I am making a bokeh effect thank you card for two challenges. The first challenge is Runway Inspired Challenge - ric#74 Escada. Below are the challenge photos:

The second challenge is CAS(E) this Sketch #104. Below is the challenge photo:

I decided to make a bokeh effect thank you card. First, I applied yellow and orange watercolors on the watercolor paper.

Once the watercolor dry, I used a dabber and dabbed white pigment ink with circle stencils to make the bokeh effect. Then, I cut a "thanks" greeting die and put white enamel accents onto the die word to make it dimensional. Cut a piece of curve stitched die and stamp "for everything" on it. Attached the orange stripe and curve stitched piece under "thanks" die. Finish the card by glued some sequins on the card. Below is the finished card:

Here is a closer look of the "thanks" die:

Supplies:
Cardstock: watercolor paper, PTI
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp
Ink Pads: Stampin' Up
Die: Mama Elephant, Lawn Fawn
Others: ZIG Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors, Ranger white enamel accents, sequins
