MTF Card Challenges - Sketch 312 & Color 60

Here are MTF Card Challenges - Sketch Challenge #312 and Color Challenge #60. Below are challenge photos:

I decided to make a card to attend these two challenges. My colleague Eric will leave our company in January 2017 to work for family business. Eric worked for me almost 9 years and I want to make a card for him on his farewell party. Below is the finished card (size 5 X 7):

I stamped the images from "Get Down to Business" set on white cardstock and watercolored them with ZIG Clean Color Real Brushes. Then mount the background on a piece of teal color cardstock. I stamped "You're in the business of excellence" on a stripe of black cardstock and white embossed it. I also stamped "Eric" on a piece of white circle cut out from a circle die and mount it on a stitched circle die. I assembled them onto the card and make the circle pop up by attaching it with foam tapes. Below is the inside of the card:

I white embossed the greetings on a white label and sponge the color with Distress ink pad. I also made a matching envelope and customized the name as well. Below is the matching envelope:

Hope he will love the card I made for him and wish him all the best in his future business.

Supplies:
Cardstock: MTF, Stampin' Up
Stamps: MTF, Simon Says Stamp, Kelly Purkey
Dies: MTF
Ink Pads: Versafine, Versamark, MTF

Paper Artsy 2016 #22 Alcohol Inks and Pens Challenge

Here is Paper Artsy 2016 #22 Alcohol Inks and Pens Challenge. I recently got lots of Paper Artsy stamps from my friend Mandy in Taiwan - she is Paper Artsy's distributor in Taiwan. I used two stamp sets from Eclectica (Kay Carley) line - love all of her stamp sets to make two cards. I was inspired by the below mixed media project made from Louise Christian. I loved her linear movement of the alcohol inks with the flowers.

I decided to make the pastel background with alcohol inks (shell pink, willow, cloudy blue, and silver) on the Yupo paper. Then I stamped the flowers with black Archival ink pad on the background. I stamped the flowers on white cardstock and colored them with Copic markers. I also cut out the flowers and attached them on the background. Below is the first card I made:

I applied silver glitter glue to decorate the flowers. "Thank you" stamp is from Simon Says Stamp. Here is the second card I made (a top folding card):

I applied white liquid pearls on the top flower to make it a little dimension. I made the movement of the flowers to go with the background.

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, MTF, Yupo Paper
Stamps: Paper Artsy, Simon Says Stamp
Ink Pads: Archival ink pad, MTF, Versafine
Others: Ranger's alcohol inks, glitter glue, liquid pearls, Copic markers

Thank you for visiting my blog & Happy Thanksgiving.
