Simon Wednesday Challenge - Clean And Simple
Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - clean and simple, below is the challenge photo:
And here are the two cards I made to attend this challenge:
I was inspired with Jennifer McGuire's die cut monoprint technique and made these two cards with the frame die. I applied different colors of Distress inks on a piece of white cardstock and die cut it with the frame die. Then, I spritz water on the die cut and placed another piece of white cardstock on top and run them through to the die cut machine to make the monoprint. I die cut three more frames with white cardstock and stacked them together with the color one on the top. Finish the first card by silver embossed "It's a good day to be happy" (from Riley and Company) on black cardstock. For the second, I die cut "hello" from the Distress inks background and stacked them with three more "hello" on white cardstock. Finish the card by dropping some Nuvo crystal drops on the monoprint frame. Below are another looks of these two cards:
Supplies:
Cardstock: MFT, PTI, Stampin' Up
Ink Pads: Distress inks, Versamark
Stamps: Riley and Company
Dies: PTI
Others: silver embossing powder, Nuvo crystal drops
