Altenew June 2025 Inspiration Challenge

Here is Altenew June 2025 Inspiration Challenge, below is the inspiration photo:


 And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I applied Altenew's layering stencils (from Splendid Bouquet Craft Your Life project kit) on a light peach cardstock with Altenew's fresh ink pads. Then I used Altenew's Rustic Burlap Press Plate to cover the all background and run it through the die cut machine to create the dry embossed effect. I love the fabric texture look of the whole background! I gold embossed "thank you" (from Altenew's Splendid Bouquet Craft Your Life project kit) on a dark orange cardstock and die cut it out with the matching die. Finish the card by attaching "thank you" die on the background and dropping some gold glitter glue on stamens of the flowers. Below is another look of the card:

Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #702-703

Here is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes Challenge - Weeks #702-703, below is the challenged word art:


And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Mini Seals and Wax Seal die sets to create the envelope and faux seals with four different shades of colors. I created a color block background to match the envelope colors. I attached the envelope onto each color block. I also cut two black stripe of cardstock to attach at the top and bottom of the color blocks. I stamped "sealed with love" (from Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Seals stamp set) at the bottom of the card. Finish the card by attaching two little hearts on left and right side of the greeting. My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #11

Here is My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #11, and below is the challenged sketch:

 

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I stamped the bear, cupcake, and heart (from MFT's Bitty Bear stamp set) on white cardstock and colored with alcohol markers. Then I cut them out with MFT's circle stitch and circle dies. I stamped the background with MFT's Number Jumble background stamp on pink cardstock. I also stamped MFT's Diagonal Stripes background stamp on brown cardstock and embossed it with white satin pearl embossing powder. I cut both background half diagonally and attached them on a card base. I used MFT's Stylish Happy Birthday die to cut from both pink and brown cardstock and attached them on the background. Finish the card by attaching the little bear, cupcake, and heart on the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Masculine

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Masculine, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Coloring Stencil as the mask and blended in purple, blue, and green Distress Oxide inks into each grid on a white cardstock. I stamped the silhouette images (from Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Lake Sunset and Tropical Sunset stamp set) with black ink into each grid. I used Waffle Flower's Postage Collage Blocks die to cut out the frame from a black cardstock. I attached the black die on top of the stamped images and matted the the whole background on a blue card base. I white embossed the greeting (from Simon Says Stamp's Tiny Words Faith stamp set) on a piece of black cardstock. Finish the card by attaching the greeting at the bottom left of the card. Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes

I blended the background with four different colors of Distress Oxide inks. I due cut the Pooh & Friends Silhouette die (from Spellbinders) from black cardstock and attached at the bottom of the card. I also die cut "so happy for you" (Love and Happy dies set from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th) from black cardstock and vellum and attached it on top of the card. Finish the card by attaching some Trinity Stamps' Oh My Stars confetti on the sky. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Emboss It

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Emboss It, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I dry embossed two background - one light purple and one dark purple with Altenew's 3D embossing folders (Royal Brocade and Ways to Thank You). I lightly inked the embossed areas with white ink pad. I cut the two embossed background half diagonally and attached them on the card base. Due to the dry embossing will shrink the cardstock a little bit, I attached a glitter cardstock strip in between these two embossed background. I also die cut a glitter bow (from The Greetery's Put A Bow On It die) and attached it on top of the glitter strip to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:

I used Altenew's Lace 3D embossing folder to dry embossed on a piece of blue cardstock. I applied white ink pad and lightly pressed on the raised areas. I used Spellbinders' Butterfly Swirl press plate and die set to press and cut out five butterflies. I used alcohol markers to color the five butterflies and attached them on the background. Finish the card by stamping "happy birthday!" (from Altenew's Plants & Vases stamp set) at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Food And/Or Drink

I stamped the Summer Garden background stamp (from Colorado Craft Company) on watercolor paper with dark grey ink. Then I watercolor the images with Distress reinkers. I white embossed the greeting (from Sweet 'N Sassy's Be Encouraged 2 stamp set) on the dark grey cardstock and cut it out with oval stitch die (from My Favorite Things Stamp). I stacked the oval die twice and attached it on the background to complete the card. Below is another look of the card:

Altenew May 2025 Inspiration Challenge

Here is Altenew May 2025 Inspiration Challenge, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I used Altenew's Pitcher Vases 3D embossing folder and matching die and stencil to create the blue pitcher. I stamped the flowers from Altenew's Afternoon Delights stamp set on a white cardstock. I colored the flowers and leaves with Altenew's alcohol markers. I used Altenew's Leafy Border die to die cut the border on the right side of the white card background. I attached the white panel on a blue card base and attached the pitcher with foam tapes under the flowers. I stamped "enjoy the moment (from Altenew's Meadow Reflections stamp set) with blue ink in between the die cut border and the pitcher. Finish the card by adding some Altenew's Shimmer Relief Paste on the centers of flowers. Below is another look of the card:

Gina K Designs May 2025 Monthly Mix Challenge - Paper Piecing

Here is Gina K Designs May 2025 Monthly Mix Challenge - Paper Piecing, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I stamped Gina K Designs' Petite Flourish background stamp on a blue background. I used the butterfly dies (from Gina K Designs' Fluttering Fall dies set) to cut two butterflies on the background. Then I used the matching layering stencils to blend two butterflies on white cardstock and cut them out. I attached the two butterflies on the card inside. I white embossed "grateful for you" (from Gina K Designs' Blooming Sunflower stamp set) on navy cardstock and attached it on the card front. Finish the card by highlighting the butterflies and background with Gelly Roll Stardust pen. Below is the card when it is closed:

I used Spellbinders' Fresh Picked Buttercups dies set to cut the flowers and leaves from Spellbinders' new cardstocks. Then I shaded the flowers and leaves with Altenew's fresh dye inks. I assembled the flowers and leaves and attached them on the merlot color card background. I stamped "happy birthday" (from MFT's Bitty Bears stamp set) on a strip of pink cardstock. Finish the card by attaching the sentiment strip on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I used Long Line Leaves stencils set from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th and Lisa Horton Crafts' Interference ink pads to blend the background. Then I used Posca silver pen to trace the stencil and create the outlines. I silver embossed "blessing to you" (from Simon Says Stamp's Clean Line Faith stamp set) on a strip of black cardstock and attached it on the background. Finish the card by attaching some silver gem sparkles from Altenew on the card. Below is another look of the card:

I silver embossed the leaf (Long Line Leaves stamp set from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th) on white cardstock. I blended in different shade of blues with Distress Oxide inks and the matching stencils, I also silver embossed the splatter from the same stamp set. I fussy cut out the top portion of the leaf and foam mounted on a navy background. I die cut "you are loved" (from Loved & Happy dies set from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th) with vellum and navy cardstock. Finish the card by attaching the die cut word on the leaf. I die cut Penny Black's 3D Awakening die from white cardstock and run it through the matching 3D embossing folder. Then I used the matching stencils to blend the purple and green inks on the flowers and leaves. I die cut the white frame from Penny Black's Classy Frames die set. I stamped Penny Black's Letter Background stamp on a purple background. I assembled the flower and frame and attached it on the background. I white embossed "rejoice in the Lord" (from Simon Says Stamp's Tiny Words Faith stamp set) on a strip of dark purple cardstock and attached on the card. Finish the card by dropping some glitter glue on the centers of the flowers. Below is another look of the card:

My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #08

Here is My Favorite Things Sketch Challenge #08, below is the challenged sketch:

 

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I blended the background with four different greens of Distress Oxide inks on a white cardstock. Then I cut the triangle out from the top. I stamped leaves from MFT's Fresh Foliage stamps set with black ink on the background. I stamped the butterfly (from MFT's Beautiful Butterflies stamp set) on white cardstock and fussy cut it out. I dropped some blue glitter glue on the wings of the butterfly. I stamped "I'm Here For You" (from MFT's Essential Sentiments stamp set) on top of the triangle. I attached both leaves background and the triangle on a black card base, I attached the triangle piece with the foam tapes to lift it up. I also leave a black border in between. I attached the butterfly on the background as well as some enamel dots to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Blooming Blooms

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Blooming Blooms, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I used four different colors of Distress Oxide inks to blend the background on a piece of watercolor paper. I lightly stamped Penny Black's Letter Background on the blended background. Then I stamped the flowers from Penny Black's Secret Garden stamp set and Effulgence stamp. I also stamped the filler flowers and stems from Penny Black's Feathery and Fragile Beauty stamp set. I white embossed the stems to create the layered dimension and texture. I applied Altenew's Shimmer Relief Paste (Brushed Pyrite) on the flower heads and sprinkle the diluted Shimmer Relief Paste on the background. Finish the card by stamping Happy Birthday (from Waffle Flower's Essential Sentiments stamp set) on top right of the card. Below is another look of the card:
