Since I was inspired by Savannah's Cross-Stamp-Stitching technique so much, I decided to make my own cross-stitching card. I also applied the layout for this week's Designer Drafts challenge on Paper Smooches Sparks. Here is the challenge:
The sail boat cross-stitch pattern was found from internet for free. I used the little "x" stamp from the Needle Little Love set to stamp the sail boat. The wave was cut with border die on vellum and colored with blue Copic marker. I heat embossed white text of "waving hello" on the vellum and attached at the bottom of the card. Then, I stamped the little bird on the sail boat and colored with Copic markers.
Due to the water theme of the card, I would like to attend the Addicted to CAS challenge as well. Here is the challenge:
Cardstocks: PTI (white), Stampin' Up (blue)
Stamps: Paper Smooches (Needle Little Love set & Wicked Nauticool set)
Ink Pads: Memento, Versamark
Others: Copic markers, white embossing powder, vellum
