Here is the 3rd card I used Simon Says Stamp's "Cups and Succulents" stamp set to make for Mandy's Facebook January challenge. I also have this card to attend Simon Monday Challenge - Best Friends. Here is Simon Monday Challenge photo:
I decided to use the Brusho crystal colors to sprinkle them on the watercolor paper and spray water to make the background. Below is the finished background:
And below is the finished card:
I used the matching die cuts to cut out the cups and succulents and colored them with Distress ink pads and water brush. I also applied Distress ink on the white wood grain cardstock to make it like the real wood. I attached the plants on the wood paper with foam tapes. Finish the card by stamping "cheering you on" on the background. This card is made for one of my best friend who has something bothered her currently, and I think this card shall be able to cheer her up.
Supplies:
Cardstock: Tim Holtz watercolor paper, Simon Says Stamp wood grain paper, PTI (white cardstock)
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp
Dies: Simon Says Stamp
Ink Pads: Distress ink pads, Archival ink pad
Others: Brusho crystal colors, water brush, foam tapes
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I love what you did with your background, Juilien! It's such a lovely little scene that you've created. So glad you joined us this week for the Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
