A Blog Named Hero January Challenge - New To Me

Here is A Blog Named Hero January Challenge - New To Me. Below is the challenge photo:

I picked this Hero Arts background stamp - Gratitude Background (CG644) which I purchased a few months ago but never use it yet. I also want to use my MISTI to try this technique for my first time with this background stamp for an ombre look. Below is the finished card:

I found Hero Arts' "Just for you by Lia" stamp set has lots of flower elements similar to this background. So, I picked three flowers from this set to stamp my focal point on a piece of circle white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. Then, I mount the white circle on a piece of green circle cardstock. Below is another lok of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: MFT, PTI
Stamps: Hero Arts
Ink Pads: Memento, Simon Says Stamp, MFT
Others: Copic markers, Ranger enamel accent, Tonic Nuvo crystal drops

And here is Simon Monday Challenge: Be Square, below is the challenge photo:

Below is the card I made for the above two challenges:

I used Essentials by Ellen Stitches Cover plate die to emboss the white cardstock, and cut into a square. I stamped the pineapple with black Versafine ink pad from Avery Elle's Stay Fresh set on a piece of watercolor paper and embossed with clear embossing powder. I colored the pineapple with ZIG Clean Color Real Brush and cut out. I stamped the greeting on a stripe of vellum and white embossed. I attached the pineapple on the white embossed background and used foam tapes to lift up the leaves. Finish the card by brush the green Distress ink pad around the card and attach vellum stripe cross the pineapple. Below is another look of the card:

I Love Your Joyful Spirit

Here is Paper Smooches January 2017 challenge - COZY, below is the inspiration photo:

And here is Word Art Wednesday Anything Goes for challenge weeks #264-265, Below is this week's word art:

I made a card to attend the above two challenges. Here is the finished card:

I used Paper Smooches "Crystal Clear" stamp and die set to make this card. I dry embossed the vase dies on the kraft cardstock. Then, I cut two vases (left and right) from another piece of kraft cardstock. I stamped flower and leaves in white pigment ink and colored with color pencils. I also applied white pigment ink on the three vases and colored with color pencils. The blue vase was glued down into the dry embossed area and the green vase was attached with foam tape to create the dimension. I used the Q-tip to apply white ink through the stencil and white embossed the greeting (from "Spiritual Sampler" set) to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: Neenah (kraft), MTF (white)
Stamps: Paper Smooches
Ink Pads: Stampin' Up, Versamark

I stamped "have a happy day" (from JOFY stamp set 11) on white cardstock and brushed Distress ink pads, and cut them out. I attached them on the background with foam tapes. Finish the card by sprinkling the white watercolor on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Start Afresh

Here is Simon Monday Challenge's first challenge of 2017 - Start Afresh. Below is the challenge photo:

This year, I joined Mandy's "children in hospital" program in Taiwan to send blank cards to hospital nurses and social workers. They will use our donated cards to write up something and send to the children in hospital. Here is the card I made for this challenge:

This is my first time to use MTF's "Ewe Are the Best" set which I just got it from Christmas sales. The set is very adorable and I believe all of the children must love these cute sheep on the card. I applied Gelatos on the gesso background with my fingers. Colored the images with Copic markers. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: MTF, Stampin' Up
Stamps: MTF, Simon Says Stamp
Dies: MTF, Simon Says Stamp
Ink Pads: MTF, Versmark
Others: Copic markers, Gelatos, white gesso, white embossing powder, foam tapes

Happy New Year and thank you for visiting my blog.
