Here is Ellen Hutson August Essentials Challenge - Alcohol Inks. Below is the card I made to attend this challenge:
I used different colors of Ranger's alcohol inks on the Yupo paper to create a green tone background. I also put silver metallic mixative alcohol ink on the background. I dry embossed a dark green cardstock with Stitches Background die from Ellen Huston. Then, I cut the Yupo out and attached at the bottom of dark green cardstock. I cut out "hugs" several times on white cardstock and glitter silver cardstock. I stacked them together to make the word dimensional and attached it on the background. I attached a light green cardstock on to of the background to finish the card. Below is another look of the card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampin' Up, Yupo paper, glitter cardstock
Inks: Ranger's alcohol inks
Dies: Ellen Huston, Winnie & Walter

Ellen Huston Pin-Sights Challenge
Here is Ellen Huston's special challenge - Pin-Sights Challenge. Below is the challenge photo:
I decided to use the Mondo Hydrangea stamp and die set to make a card. Below is the finished card:
I stamped the hydrangea, petals, and leaf on watercolor paper and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Then, I colored them with ZIG Kuretake Gansai Tambi watercolors and cut them out with dies. Once they dry, I used yellow, purple, and green colors of Ken Oliver Color Burst Liquid Metals to enhance the watercolors and added some pretty shimmer on the colored images. I flicked some black watercolors on the white cardstock background. I used foam tapes to attach the cut-out petals on the hydrangea and attached the hydrangea on the background with foam tapes as well. Finish the card by stamping "thinking of you" with black Versafine ink pad and clear embossed it. Below is another look of the card:
And here is a side view of the card to see the two layers dimensional with foam tapes:
Supplies:
Cardstock: Neenah, Stampin' Up
