Dala Horse Thank You Cards

I just came back from a long vacation visiting Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, and Russia. When we were in Sweden, I realized the Dala horse is a traditional carved, painted wooden statue of a horse originating in the Swedish province of Dalarna (Dalecarlia). In the old days the Dalecarlian horse was mostly used as a toy for children; in modern times it has become a symbol of Dalarna, as well as of Sweden in general. I would like to make two thank you cards for our cell group members who helped us to organize this trip. I think the best stamp set to make the thank you card is the Dala Horse set from Neat and Tangled. Below are the two cards I made:

These two cards are pretty easy to make, just colored the horses with Copic makers and highlighted them with the clear Wink of Stella brush pen. I would like to use these cards to attend this week's Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes, below is the challenge photo:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, Stampin' Up
Stamps: Neat and Tangled
Ink Pads: Versafine, Stampin' Up, Distress inks
Dies: MFT
Others: Copic markers, the Wink of Stella clear brush pen, clear embossing powder, MISTI, foam tapes

Thank you for visiting my blog.
