Paper Smooches August Challenge - Anything Goes
Here is Paper Smooches August Challenge - Anything Goes, below are the challenge photos:
And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:
I used MISTI to stamp the trees, scarecrow, and pumpkin in Distress Oxide Antique Linen, then I put masking tape to form a rectangle and stamp the images again with Versafine black ink. I clear embossed the images in the rectangle. I used a thin black marker to draw the border of rectangle. I colored the images with Distress inks. I stamped the leaves, acorns, apples randomly on the background with Antique Linen Distress Oxide ink. Finish the card by stamping "best wishes" under the rectangle. I love this frame spotlight technique. Below is another look of the card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI
Stamps: Paper Smooches
Ink Pads: Distress inks, Distress Oxide, Versafine
Others: clear embossing powder, black marker, water brush

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Distress It
Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Distress It. Below is the challenge photo:
I decided to try Jennifer McGuire's new technique - Layered Distress Oxide Resist to make a card for this challenge. Here is the finished card:
I clear embossed some leaves on the white cardstock, then I applied Distress Oxide - Twisted Citron directly on the white cardstock to make the first layer. Then I clear embossed more leaves on top of the first layer, and applied Distress Oxide - Peeled Paint directly on the first layer. I clear embossed more leaves on top of the second layer and applied Distress Oxide - Lucky Clover directly on the second layer. I stamped some leaves with Versamark and embossed with Hero Arts white satin pearl powder to finish the layered background. I die cut the square frame and stacked three layers and mat it on the vellum paper. I die cut "dream big" three times and glued them together, attached it on the vellum. Below is another look of the card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, vellum
Stamps: PTI, Altenew
Ink Pads: Distress Oxide inks, Versamark
Others: dies, embossing powder
