Here is A Blog Named Hero Challenge - Birthday Cards, below is the challenge photo:
And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:
I applied different alcohol inks on a piece of Yupo paper, let it dry. Then, I used the new Tim Holtz Alcohol Lift-Ink pad to stamp Hero Arts' Spice Market Large Petal background stamp (CG638) on the Yupo. I rubbed a cloth to lift the alcohol inks from Yupo paper to show the stamped background image. I gold embossed the flowers (from Hero Arts G5749) and "Happy Birthday to You!" (from Hero Arts' Calico Borders) on the black cardstock. I cut out the black stripe and flowers, and applied on the background with foam tapes. Below is another look of the card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: Yupo Paper, Stampin' Up
Ink Pads: Versamark, Alcohol Lift-Ink pad
Stamps: Hero Arts
Others: alcohol inks, gold embossing powder, foam tapes
