Sending You Sunshine & Laughter

Here is the card I made to attend the above two challenges:

I was inspired with one of my favorite skirts and made this card. Below is the photo of the skirt:

I white embossed the Hero Arts' Spice Market Large Petal Background stamp on the white cardstock. Then I brushed different shades of blue Distress Oxide inks on the image. This background stamp makes me think about the pattern on my skirt and I used blue colors to mimic the colors on the skirt as well. Finish the card by white embossed the greeting "sending you sunshine and laughter" on a stripe of navy cardstock. Below is another look of the card:

Ink Pads: Versamark, Distress Oxide inks
Stamps: Hero Arts
Others: white embossing powder, clear gems, Picket Fence Life Changing brushes
