Sending Snowflake Wishes

Here are the two challenges I would like to attend this week:

And here is the card I made to attend the above two challenges:


I blended in four different colors of Distress Oxide inks on white cardstock. Then I die cut Hero Arts' Tri-fold Edge City fancy dies on black, dark gray, and light gray cardstock and stacked them together. I stamped "sending snowflake wishes" on the sky (from Hero Arts' Color Layering Snowflake stamp set) and clear embossed it. Finish the card by attaching some Studio Katia snowflakes glitters and apply some white gen pen to mimic snow. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #30 - Circles

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #30 - Circles, below is the challenge photo:


And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Hero Arts' City Window Fancy die on a shimmery black cardstock. I stamped Hero Arts' Sunburst Bold Prints background with Versamark ink on the background and heat embossed it with Hero Arts' white satin pearl embossing powder. I sprinkled Cosmic Shimmer Pixie powder on a piece of watercolor paper and sprayed water on it. I attached the shimmery water color paper on the back of city window and attached some clear gems on it. Finish the card by white embossed "the world needs your light" on a stripe of vellum and attach it under the city window. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #27 - Stenciling

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #27 - Stenciling, below is the challenge photo:

I used Hero Arts' Mountain Scene stencil and Distress Oxide inks to make the scene on the white cardstock. I stamped the skating people and greeting from Hero Arts' Snowy Town stamp set. I highlighted the mountain top and tree with white gel pen to mimic snow. I also brushed the clear Spectrum Noir sparkle glitter brush pen on the lake to mimic ice. Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #26 - Rainbow

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #26 - Rainbow, below is challenge photo:




And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Hero Arts' infinity circle dies to die cut different colors of cardstock. Then I assembled them into several rainbow circles. I cut the circles into four equal parts and used these quadrants of circles to assemble the pretty rainbow borders on white cardstock. I cut out the top portion of white cardstock and applied foam tapes to attach it on a light blue card base. I stamped "hello" in the middle white cardstock space. Finish the card by attaching some blue gems on the card. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #23 - Fun In The Sun

Here is Stay Crafty with Hero Challenge #23 - Fun in the Sun, below is the challenge photo:

I stamped the caterpillar and leaf (from Hero Arts' Bug You stamp set) with masking technique and colored them with Copic markers. This caterpillar let me think about the book "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle which is my son's favorite book when he was little. I used Hero Arts' Cloudy Sky Scene dies to cut the cloud, sun, and seagulls. I attached them on top of the card with foam tapes. I also brushed the clear shimmery pen on the sun. Finish the card by stamping "Just wanted to bug you" at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #22 - Birthday Cards

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #22 - Birthday Cards, below is the challenge photo:



And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:


I swiped four different blue colors of Distress Inks on the white cardstock. Let it dry completely. Then I clear embossed Hero Arts' Waves background stamp to create the ocean background. I stamped the jelly fish (from My Monthly Hero kit) on the white cardstock and cut them out with the matching dies. I cut some extra jelly fish dies from white cardstock and stacked them together to make them dimensional. I white embossed the greeting on vellum and cut it out. Finish the card by assembling jelly fish, greeting, and some gems on the ocean background. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #21 - Bring On Spring!

Here is Hero Arts' Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #21 - Bring On Spring! Below is the challenge photo:




And here it the card I made to attend this challenge:


I gold embossed the background with Hero Arts' Flourish background stamp. I used the stamping foam and Hero Arts' Leaf & Floral background stamp to make a reversed image on the stamp foam. Then I applied two different colors of Distress Oxide inks to stamp the image on white cardstock. I stamped the leaf branch and greeting on it with black ink. I applied Versamark ink around the edges and gold embossed it. I attached the stamping foam background on the card with foam tapes. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #19 - Include A Heart!

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #19 - Include A Heart! Below is the challenge photo:

I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's Sentiment Background idea to make this card. I stamped the sentiments and small images from Hero Arts' "Stamped Just For You" stamp set on the orchid cardstock. Then I stamped Hero Arts' Starry Night background stamp on top of the background with white ink. I stamped the love stamps (from Hero Arts' Stamped Just For You set) on the white cardstock and colored with Copic markers. I die cut a heart in the middle of the background and put the colored love stamps under the heart. Finish the card by white embossed "Just inking of you" on a stripe of orchid cardstock and attach it at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #18 - Inspired By...

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #18 - Inspired By..., below is the challenge photo:


 

I was inspired by Hero Arts' creative team Maria Willis' rainbow background card, you can see the post here. Below is the inspired card I made to attend the challenge:



I clear embossed Hero Arts' Branches Bold Prints background on white cardstock. Then I blended in rainbow colors of Distress Oxide inks to resist the branches. I spray the iridescent shimmer mist on the background and let it dry. I die cut Hero Arts' Leaves & Vines Fancy Die from black cardstock three times. I stacked them together and used a round die to cut it out and attach it on the round cut vellum. I white embossed "inked with love" (from Hero Arts' Stamped Just For You set) on a small stripe of black cardstock and attached it on the round die cut. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #17 - Thank You Cards

I stamped Hero Arts Pearl Strings Bold Prints background stamp with different colors of dye ink pads with MISTI stamping tool. Then, I clean the background stamp and use Versamark ink pad to stamp the whole background again. I brushed Perfect Pearl powder on the background to make it shiny. I die cut a heart (from Hero Arts' heart nested dies) in the middle of the background. I white embossed "thank you" on the pink card front. Then I used foam tapes to attach the Perfect Pearl background on the pink card. Finish the card by attaching some pearl gems around "thank you". Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #16 - Slimline Holiday Cards

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #16 - Slimline Holiday Cards, below is the challenge photo:




And here is the slimline holiday card I made to attend this challenge:


I used Hero Arts' Snowy Town stamp set to stamp all of the images on white cardstock with black Versafine ink pad. Then I clear embossing them. I blended different colors of Distress Oxide inks on the background to make the winter scene. I heat embossed the greeting "warm winter wishes" with rose gold embossing powder on a stripe of black cardstock and attached it with foam tapes on the background. Finish the card by putting some Ranger's liquid pearl on the Christmas trees and some Ranger's glitter glue on the sky. Below is another look of the card:

I made the background with Distress Oxide inks, Gelli plate, stencil (from Simon Says Stamp), and stamp (Tim Holtz). I stamped corals, fishes, and turtle on the background with Hero Arts stamp and Distress Oxide inks. I also stamped the jelly fishes on white cardstock and cut them out with the matching dies. I stamped "have a jelly good birthday" on the card and attached the jelly fishes on the background with foam tapes. Finish the card by attaching some blue gems. Below is another look of the card:

Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge #12 - Friendship

Here is Stay Crafty With Hero Challenge - Friendship, below is the challenge photo:

I used alcohol inks, alcohol lift-ink pad, and Yupo paper to play the alcohol lift ink technique. I dropped blue and red alcohol inks o the Yupo paper. Then I applied alcohol lift-ink pad on Hero Arts' Three Ferns stamp and stamped on the glossy cardstock to make the above card. The greeting is from Hero Arts' Stamped Just For You set. The original Yupo inked background was made into the below card:


I used the Hero Arts' rectangle dies to make white border and cut the hello die (from Avery Elle). I inlay the white rectangle die into the background and attached the hello die at the bottom of the background to finish the card.

I stamped Hero Arts Ocean Waves background stamp on the watercolor paper and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I wiped different colors of Distress inks on the background. I spray the Perfect Pearl water on the background and let it dry completely. I die cut a small heart at the bottom right hand corner. I white embossed "wishing you the best" at the inside of the card. I light brushed purple Distress inks to resist the greetings. Below is the photo when you open the card:
