Here is A Blog Named Hero June Challenge - Monochrome, below is the challenge photo:
And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:
I applied three different shades of plum inks on the stamping foam and pressed Hero Arts' Flower Dot Pattern background stamp to create a small reversed image background. I clear embossed the same background stamp on the dark plum cardstock. I white embossed the butterfly (from Hero Arts' Heart Winged Butterfly) on a piece of vellum and wrap it around the small reversed background. I stamped "thinking of you" with plum ink at the bottom of the small reversed background. Finish the card by attaching the small reversed background on the card background and attaching some plum pearls on the card. Below is another look of the card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: Stampin' Up, MFT, vellum
Ink Pads: Versamark, Altenew
Stamps: Hero Arts
Others: embossing powders, pearls
Thank you for visiting my blog.
Oh this is lovely! The background adds so much texture and interest! Thanks so much for entering the challenge!
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty and moody card--I'm excited to see your use of stamping foam, too! Thanks so much for joining our challenge at A Blog Named Hero!
