Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes, below is the challenge photo:
And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:I was inspired by Jennifer McGuire's stencil ink press technique and would like to give it a try. I applied different shades of blue Distress inks on Picket Fence Studios' Plumeria Flowers stencil and press it through my die cut machine to make a blue background and dry embossed flowers & leaves. Then I applied the same stencil on the embossed flowers and leaves, and brushed Distress Oxide inks on them. I die cut "happy birthday" with MFT's Happy Birthday border die on black cardstock twice. I white embossed "enjoy the day" (from Simon Says Stamp's Clean Line Everyday stamp set) under the "happy birthday" die. Finish the card by attaching some gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: MFT, PTI
Ink Pads: Distress inks, Distress Oxide inks, Versamark
