Altenew August 2022 Inspiration Challenge - Summer Inspired Birthday Card

Here is Altenew August 2022 Inspiration Challenge - Summer Inspired Birthday Card, below is the challenge photo:

 

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

I used Altenew's Fancy Sweater Builder stencil set to create the background with four different colors of Distress Oxide inks. I stamped the little cup cake (from Altenew's Tea Time stamp set) on white cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. I fussy cut the cup cake. I also white embossed "happy birthday" (from Altenew's Ornamental Bliss stamp set) on a stripe of orange cardstock. I used the circle die to cut out the center of the stenciled background and lifted it up on the white card base with the same center circle cut-out cardstock. Finish the card by attach greeting stripe across the center circle and put the cup cake on top of the greeting. I also attached three gold star sequins around the cup cake.
