Here is Poppystamps August Challenge - Clean & Simple, below is the challenge photo:
And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:
I used different colors of green Distress Oxide inks to blend onto a white cardstock, then I used Poppystamps' Pine Needle Shoots dies to die cut from it. I assembled the Pine Needle Shoots into two clusters of leaves. I also die cut Poppystamps' Grosgrain Bow die from white cardstock and colored them with red Distress Oxide inks. I also brushed the clear glitter pen on top of the bow. I blended Antique Linen Distress ink into a rectangle on white background. I also die cut a smaller dark green rectangle cardstock and gold embossed "Merry Christmas" on it. Finish the card by arranging the pine needle leaves and bow on top of the greeting. Below is another look of the card:
Supplies:
Cardstock: MFT, Gina K Designs
Ink Pads: Distress Inks, Distress Oxide Inks
Stamps: Simon Says Stamp (greeting)
Dies: Poppystamps
Others: gold embossing powder, clear glitter pen
Thank you for visiting my blog.
I love the clean simplicity of this design. The inky shadow on the sentiment block and the layered boughs against the little bow are perfect!
ReplyDeleteWow! This card is so classy and elegant. I love lines of the background, it really makes the bow stand out!
