Here is the card I created for this challenge:


I used Altenew's Leafy Splendor 3D embossing folder to press through a white cardstock. Then I blended in blue, orange, and yellow on the whole background. I stamped the leaves (from Altenew's Rose Tea stamp set) on the non-embossed space with color of ink to match the background. I stamped "wishing you the best" on top of the card. Finish the card by attaching some Altenew's crystal clear enamel dots on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Monday Challenge - Use Dies

I used Concord & 9th's Handmade Holiday stamp and die set to create this Christmas card. I die cut each piece from the die set and assembled them to create the background. I stamped the greeting in the center of the card. Finish the card by attaching some glitter gems on the bows. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Winter Blues

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Winter Blues, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I applied different shades of blue alcohol inks on the Yupo paper. Then I stamped the image from Tim Holtz' Festive Collage stamp set with Alcohol Lift ink pad on the blue background. I die cut "peace love & joy" (from Paper Rose's Peace Love & Joy die set) from vellum and silver glitter foam sheet (from Spellbinders) to assemble them together. Finish the card by attaching the die cut greeting on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I used Penny Black's Posted stamp & die set and Sparkle & Shine stamp set to create the large postage focal point. I colored the ornament with alcohol markers. I white embossed Penny Black's Letter Background stamp on a piece of red cardstock. I assembled with part of the red background I created on a white card and attached a thin stripe of silver foil cardstock under it. Finish the card by attaching the postage focal point with foam tapes on the card. Below is another look of the card:

I used Waffle Flower's Overlapping Christmas Words stencil trio to create the background with different blue and purple Distress Oxide inks. Then I stamped "wish you" (from Waffle Flower's Overlapping Christmas Additions stamp set) in between "joy" and "love". Finish the card by attaching some Trinity Stamps' Oh My Stars Confetti randomly on the card. Below is another look of the card:

I used Spellbinders' Floral View Betterpress plate to press the background with blue ink. Then I pressed the greeting "specially for you" and die cut it out with the matching die. I attached the die cut greeting in the center of the card. Finish the card by attaching some glitter glue on top and bottom of the greeting die. Below is another look of the card:

I created the background with alcohol inks and Gelli plate on Craft Plastic paper. Then I gold embossed the leaf stamp (from Penny Black's Leaf Trio stamp set) on top of the background. I used Penny Black's Stick & Shine - Sentiment Shine and 14K Gold Fancy Foil from Gina K Designs to foil "Noel" at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Get Well Card

And here is the card I created to attend the above two challenges:


I used Simon Says Stamp's Floral Whimsy stencil set to create this colorful background. I applied Black Soot Distress Ink on part of the flower and leaves. Then I used Lisa Horton Interference ink pads to blend over the Black Soot Distress Ink area and also on the white area. With one color of an Interference ink pad, you can create two different colors on black and on white. I stamped the "get well soon" greeting (from Heffy Doodle's Everyday Sentiment Duos stamp set) with black Versafine ink pad on a stripe of vellum. Then I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Finish the card by attaching the vellum stripe at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Spellbinders Lilac Lovelies Contest

Here is Spellbinders' Lilac Lovelies Contest, below is the challenge photo:

 


Lilac/Purple is my favorite color, I am excited to create this below card to join this contest:


I used Spellbinders' Butterfly Garden press plate and BetterPress system to press on the watercolor paper. I also used Spellbinders' Butterfly Swirl press plate and die set to press the extra butterflies and die cut them out. Then I used lilac/purple tones of metallic watercolors to watercolor the background as well as the butterflies. The metallic watercolors create the shimmery look on the whole background and butterflies. I matted the background on Spellbinders' Lilac Blossom cardstock. Finish the card by attaching "thank you" panel with foam tapes and two additional butterflies around it. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Christmas

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Christmas, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I used alcohol ink lift technique to create this Christmas card. I put different shades of blue alcohol inks on a piece of Yupo paper. Then I used one of Tim Holtz Stamper Anonymous' Festive Collage stamp set to apply Alcohol Lift ink pad and stamp it on Tim Holtz' alcohol ink cardstock. I sprinkled silver Distress Mica spray on the background. I white embossed "Merry Christmas" (from Waffle Flower's Dotted Labels Christmas stamp set) on the blue cardstock and attached it on the background with foam tapes. Below is another look of the card:

I used Spellbinders' Season's Greetings Evergreens press plate and die set to press the trees and greeting. I blended Distress Oxide inks on the sky and sprinkled white reinker on the background. I used the matching die to cut out the pressed greeting 3 times and stacked them together. Finish the card by attaching the greeting on top right of the card. Below is another look of the card:

Altenew October 2024 Inspiration Challenge

Here is Altenew October 2024 Inspiration Challenge, below is the inspiration challenge photo:


And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:


I used Altenew's Cupped Blossoms 3D embossing folder to run through a white cardstock. I used the reverse side of the embossed background and brushed in Distress Oxide inks on the flowers and leaves. Then I lightly swiped black ink pad on the whole background to make a black background as well as on the embossed portion of the images. I white embossed "You're in my heart" (from Altenew's Sentiment Strips stamp set) on top of the background. Finish the card by attaching some Altenew's Crystal Cleasr Enamel Dots on the card. Thank You Card

For the background, I stamped Hero Arts' Acanthus Bold Prints background stamp with dark brown ink on brown cardstock to create a tone on tone effect. I die cut Hero Arts' Looking Glass - Canyon Lands dies from watercolor paper. I watercolor the dies with Distress reinkers and stacked them together with foam tapes to create dimension. I matted the focal image die on a piece of copper glitter paper. I gold embossed "thank you" (from Hero Arts' Friendly Messages stamp set) on the brown cardstock and die cut it out with the matching die. Below is another look of the card:

I did not use the alcohol lift ink technique for a while and decided to use this technique again. I created an alcohol ink background with different shades of blue inks on Yupo paper. Then I used one of Tim Holtz Stamper Anonymous' Festive Collage stamp set to apply Alcohol Lift ink pad and stamp it on white cardstock. I sprinkled silver Distress Mica spray on the background. I white embossed "Merry Christmas" (from Waffle Flower's Dotted Labels Christmas stamp set) on the blue cardstock and die cut it out with MFT's Postage Stamp STAX die. I attached the greeting on top right corner to complete the card. Below is another look of the card:
