I picked Hero Arts' July 2024 Challenge - Color My World to create this card. I used Hero Arts' Mum Flower wood mount stamp to stamp on watercolor paper. Then I used Distress re-inkers to watercolor the flower and leaves. I stamped the Chinese character of "Prosperity" (from Hero Arts' Chinese Wishes stamp set) on top of the card. I also stamped a Chinese chop stamp which means "Happy New Year" to finish the card. January 29, 2025 is the Lunar New Year and it is one of the traditions to put mum flowers as home decoration during Chinese New Year. This card was created at a perfect timing. Below is another look of the card:
