Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes, below is the challenge photo:
And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:I was inspired by Mindy Eggen's watercolor rainbow technique which combined both watercolor and ink pads with 3D embossing folder for this card. I used Distress reinkers to watercolor a background with yellow, blue, pink, and purple. I also put and match some metallic watercolor paints on top of each watercolors to make the background shimmery. Then I press this watercolor background through Altenew's Splendid Bouquet 3D embossing folder. I used the matching stencils to blend in different ink pad colors to match the watercolor colors. I applied a light grey ink on the leaves and stems to make them a little bit dark. I used black ink on the flower centers. I sprinkle gold and white paints on the background. Finish the card by stamp and die cut "happy birthday" (from Altenew's Splendid Bouquet die set) and attached it at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card.
