Altenew August 2022 Inspiration Challenge - Summer Inspired Birthday Card

Here is Altenew August 2022 Inspiration Challenge - Summer Inspired Birthday Card, below is the challenge photo:

 

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

I used Altenew's Fancy Sweater Builder stencil set to create the background with four different colors of Distress Oxide inks. I stamped the little cup cake (from Altenew's Tea Time stamp set) on white cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. I fussy cut the cup cake. I also white embossed "happy birthday" (from Altenew's Ornamental Bliss stamp set) on a stripe of orange cardstock. I used the circle die to cut out the center of the stenciled background and lifted it up on the white card base with the same center circle cut-out cardstock. Finish the card by attach greeting stripe across the center circle and put the cup cake on top of the greeting. I also attached three gold star sequins around the cup cake. Simon Wednesday Challenge - Christmas

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Christmas, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

I made the background with Lindy's Gang Magical Powders on watercolor paper. Let it dry completely. Then I silver embossed Simon Says Stamp's Center Cut Snowflake stamp on the background. I used the circle die to cut out the center through the card front. I silver embossed the circle stamp (from The Stamping Village's Holiday Seals stamp set) on a piece of white cardstock. I cut out the circle seal and also some white cardstock circles to stack them together. I attached the circle seal inside of the card to let it pop up when you close the card. Finish the card by dropping some lavender glitter glue on the background. Below is another look of the card:

My Heart Is Filled With Gratitude

I used Gina K Designs' Layered Hearts stencils and three different Distress Oxid inks to blend the heart background on a piece of white cardstock. Then I lightly brush the same three colors on the background to match the hearts colors. For the layered stencil, I spread Gina K Designs' Glitz Glitter Gel on it to make the glitter heart patterns. Finish the card by white embossing "my heart is filled with gratitude" (from Gina K Designs' Autumn Silhouettes stamp set) on the black cardstock and attach it at the bottom of the card. I used Pinkfresh Studio's Dainty Plaid background stamp to white emboss on a white cardstock. Then I used the matching layering stencils to blend in pink, light blue, and gray Distress Oxide inks to make a beautiful plaid background. I white embossed the floral border (from Pinkfresh Studio's Charming Floral Border stamp set) on white cardstock and colored it with alcohol markers. I used the match die to cut out the floral border and several times on white cardstock to stack them together. Finish the card by white emboss "can't wait to see you again" on a stripe of gray cardstock and attach it at the bottom of the card. Below is another look of the card:

I used Creation of Nellie's Choice 3D embossing folder - Frame of Tropical Leaves to dry emboss on a black cardstock. Then I applied four different colors of Simon Hurley's Lunar Pastes with my finger on the embossed areas. I white embossed "thank you" (from Simon Says Stamp's Hexagon Greetings stamp set) on a black cardstock and cut it out. I attached the hexagon greeting in the middle of the card with foam tapes. Below is another look of the card:

Simon Wednesday Challenge - Emboss It

Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Emboss It, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

I blended four different colors of Distress Oxide inks on a white cardstock. Then I white embossed leaves and sentiment (from The Greetery's All Blessings Flow stamp set) on the background. I used the matching dies to cut them out. I also cut the leaves and sentiment on white cardstock and stacked them together. I used Spellbinders' 3D embossing folder to dry emboss the cut out color background. Then I inlayed those stacked leaves and sentiment back to the background. Finish the card by attaching some gems on the background. Below is another look of the card:

I used Distress Oxide inks, brayer, stencil, and Gelli plate to make the background. Then I used Spellbinders' Glimmer hot foil plates to gold foil "happy birthday" border on the background. I also gold foil "from me to you" on white cardstock and applied the matching die to cut several times to stack them together. Finish the card by attaching some orange gems on the card. And here is the card I made to attend this challenge:

I used Altenew's Poinsettias 3D embossing folder to dry emboss on a piece of black cardstock. I used my finger to paint different colors of Lunar Paste (from Simon Hurley) on the embossed area - one color at a time. Then I cut out part of the embossed image and attached it on the black card front. Finish the card by gold embossing the Christmas greetings (from Simon Says Stamp's Good Cheer stamp set) on top of the card. Below is another look of the card:
