Simon Monday Challenge - Whatever The Weather

Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Whatever the weather, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I mad to attend this challenge:

I stamped the umbrella background with grey Versafine ink pad on a white cardstock and embossed with clear embossing powder. Then I applied rainbow colors of Distress Oxide inks on the background. I sprinkled water drops on the background. Finish the card by die cut "take care" several times and stacked them together to make them dimensional, then attached them on a stripe of vellum. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:
Cardstock: PTI, vellum, glitter cardstock (Simon Says Stamp)
Ink Pads: Versafine, Distress Oxide inks
Stamps: Paper Artsy
Others: word dies, clear embossing powder

Thank you for visiting my blog.

  1. I really like this card and think it turned out beautifully! What an absolutely clever idea to do an ombre-type of rainbow effect in the background and to pair it with umbrellas! The effort you took to make the "take care" sentiment stand out was worth it, too, as it pops perfectly. This is a creative and lovely card and I'm so glad you shared it with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
