Here is Simon Monday Challenge - Create Your Own Background. Below is the challenge photo:

I was inspired by Yana Smakula's direct to paper technique to make the background. I used two Hero Arts' ombre ink pads and lightly swipe on the white cardstock in different directions to make the distress look background. Then I used the foam tapes to attach the black trees die cut at the bottom of the card. I die cut "thanks" with vellum and black cardstock. Finish the card by attaching some silver gems randomly on the background. Below is another look of the card:

Cardstock: PTI, Stampin' Up, vellum

Ink Pads: Hero Arts
