Sending A Little Something

Here are two challenges I would like to attend this week:

1) A Blog Named Hero Challenge - Background Basics, below is the challenge photo:

2) Simon Monday Challenge - Heat Embossing, below is the challenge photo:

And here is the card I made to attend the above two challenges:

I stamped an old Hero Arts' word pop background stamp on white cardstock with gray dye ink. I used MISTI and Hero Arts' Gratitude background stamp to stamp light green, green, blue, and light blue on the background. Then I applied Versamark ink pad on the Gratitude background stamp, shifting the cardstock a little bid and stamp. I also applied clear embossing powder to heat emboss it. I used the blending brush to blend blue and green ink on the background, and the leaves and their white shadow resisted with the ink to create a beautiful background. I white embossed "sending a little something" (from Hero Arts' Bug You stamp set) and a small leaf image (from Hero Arts' Beautiful World stamp set) on black cardstock and cut it out. I applied foam tapes on the greeting cut out and attached it on the background. Finish the card by attaching some gems on the card. Below is another look of the card:

Supplies:

Cardstock: MFT, PTI

Ink Pads: Versamark, Altenew

Stamps: Hero Arts

Embossing Powders: Hero Arts

Others: MISTI tool, foam tapes, gems
