Here is Simon Wednesday Challenge - Something New, below is the challenge photo:
And here is the card I created to attend this challenge:This is my first time to try the "shadow box" 3D card. I used the Greetery's snowflake stencil to create the shadow box front. I also die cut the snowflakes (from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th' Snow Flurries dies set) on matte silver cardstock and attached them on the oval opening. For the inside of shadow box, I die cut Memory Box's Country Landscape die and colored the houses and tress with alcohol markers. I also used silver glitter glue to form a slope of snow on the die. I silver embossed and die cut "So Very Merry" (from Kristina Werner with Concord & 9th' Joyful Holiday stamps and dies set) and attached to the background blended with Distress Oxide inks. Finish the card by drawing some snow dots with white gel pen. Below is another look of the card:
