Simon Monday & Wednesday Challenges - A Bit O'Green

Here are the same challenges theme for this week's Simon Monday Challenge and Simon Wednesday Challenge - A Bit O'Green. Below are the challenges photos:

And here is the card I created to attend the above two challenges:

I used Altenew's "Ways to Thank You" 3D embossing folder on Altenew's Mountain Pine cardstock and inked the embossing folder with Altenew's Mountain Pine fresh ink pad to create a tone on tone embossed background. Then I used a heart die to cut out a heart at the bottom right of the background. I due cut the ginkgo leaves (from Gummiapan) from light green cardstock and shaded with dark green inks. I attached the embossed background on the light green card base with foam tapes and attached the ginkgo leaves in the heart shaped die cut area. I used Spellbinders' Always and Forever Sentiment Strips press plate and matching die to create the sentiment. Finish the card by attaching the sentiment cross the heart cut out.
